For me:

Best video player - VLC (VideoLAN Player) (Open source, ne need for external codecs, ReplayGain support....)
Audio - Foobar2000 (Win) / Rhythmbox (Linux)

never had problems with ratiomaster....

just choose a torrent with the MOST leechers and put dl speed to ~ 15-40
and ul speed to 40~70


edit: better choose freeleech torrents....

and NEVER...
