Apple will nach Informationen der "New York Times" ein Fernsehgerät mit Sprachsteuerung auf den Markt bringen. Der Apple-Fernseher könne nach aktuellem Entwicklungsstand Ende 2012 vorgestellt werden und im Jahr darauf in den Handel kommen, berichtete die Zeitung unter Berufung auf Projekt-Insider.
Statt Tasten einer Fernbedienung zu drücken, würde man dann einfach mit dem eigenen Fernseher reden. Grundlage für die Sprachsteuerung wäre der "persönliche Assistent" Siri, den Apple in das neue iPhone 4S integriert hat. "Es könnte wie Science Fiction sein. Du sitzt auf der Couch und statt mit der Fernbedienung rumzufummeln oder Gesten zu machen, kannst du einfach sprechen", schrieb die New York Times.

Ich denke da wird wohl noch einiges an Entwicklungszeit draufgehen, denn Siri soll ja mit anderen Sprachen erhebliche Schwierigkeiten haben, aber für den US Markt dürften sie wohl den Termin hinkriegen, was ich nur bedenklich finde, dass man keine Alternative (Fernbedienung) zu Verfügung stellt falls mal die Sparchsteuerung den Geist aufgibt.
Aber ansonsten wird es wohl vom Design her ein Vorreiter auf den TV-Markt werden, denn dass verstehen sie bestens leider wird es wohl auch dementsprechend teuer werden wie so alle Apple Produkte, aber gespannt auf die ersten Bilder bin ich schon...
