Any advice on buying a New NAS for torrenting

As my connection got an upgrade with 100 MBPS Up/down. I plan to buy a NAS that can be used as storage, torrenting and media server. Suggestions on discs are also appreciated (Seagate/WD?)

You can also build one yourself with a spare computer or router, and considering the amount of security exploits these things often have, probably should. Check out TrueNAS and OpenWrt.

As for disk brands, I used to favor Seagate due to their reliability and low power consumption, until my 4 TB Expansion died with zero previous signs of imminent failure (a first for me). Western Digital has a "Red" line of NAS-oriented drives :unsure:
