Apparently the first of four sequels... :stupid:
based on how slow are released ,the last sequel will be finished when i'm 80 :smile:
And to think, I only watched the first one in October last year.
I watched it as soon as the TS came out - which didn't take long due to how hyped it was, IPT even had an Avatar-themed header - and was highly impressed by how much nothing I'd have missed on otherwise. As a meme pointed out at the time, it was basically Pocahontas with blue aliens.
Cameron made a name for himself as director with heavyweights like Alien, Terminator and The Abyss, but this wasn't one of them. The only great things were its visuals and commercial success :wtinfoil:
You know the story of Alien, right? He had a nightmare dreaming of the creature. That's how the movie came to be.
I thought the whole thing was an allegory of rape, but either way... those monsters are not something I would want to meet.

haven't even watched aliens until i was around 16 because it was to scary,like predator
You're right; for some reason I thought Cameron had done the first two. But Aliens was one of few movie sequels managing to outmatch the original, so my point is still valid :smilie4:Quote:

While all movies in the franchise have extended versions, in Alien 4 - Resurrection, the extended version, in the beginning there is transformation depicting a fly which slowly transformed into the creature. Supposedly, they created it from the appearance of common house fly. There was no official reference to this AFAIK when I looked it up. It got so, she couldn't see the creature afterwards, as she would picture the fly :lool:. Yes, good times... not so much now.
