If you have any problem please report, i can include a dht /Pex patch if you want.
Don't ask for x2.. hex mods.
Don't ask for fake upload injection, is not in my plans inject a .dll like userenity.
This was made for mine and some friends use that's why i'm not transforming in other utorrent big mod, it serves it purpose working with proxy ratio tool can be used by everyone who want to download but no upload (max speed) and/or uses ratio tools for upload/ratio
Hope it has some use for you.

Any virus report is due to the packer/protector, in doubt send to your AV company they analyse it.

well anon said it shouldn't affect your download anymore select a low upload speed, but anyway set it to 0, is the best you can do. It won't upload anyway.

I really request for patch DHT or PEX.It's necessary for get private torrents.

Many of torrent sites and trackers ( Free or Premium) only allow to registered user to download a torrent for example demonoid or rutracker or bitfactory and ...When your DHT & PEX networks was open you can download via these ways and not need to be a registered or Premium user . Also you can get via them so if tracker was down and when seeder is very low.If I wrong please inform me.

Yes, you're right, that will work on huge trackers like Demonoid or even TL - not on the closed sites, though.

Does this mod report stats to the tracker?It seems to me that I'm ghostleeching somehow?

It should, I think. The first post doesn't say anything about stats not being reported. You can check it yourself with a packet sniffer, if unsure.

Stats are reported to trackers like normal utorrent, only difference is the utorrent is moded to don't upload, nothing else has been changed.

He can't start the mod on win 7 x64. No error message, nothing. It just doesn't start.

Process will be instant killed if there is a debugger attached or open during execution and will show a popup if one is open when you try start it , it works with fresh install windows x64.

I'm inclined to think some security software could pass as a "debugger" (some use kernel hooks or DLL injection). Disabling that would be the first thing I'd try.

Be aware that the modded utorrent shows upload speed in user interface(Title bar/Status bar/Peers tab>Up speed/Peers tab>MaxUp/Speed tab graph)
there are reasons for it:
1 DHT network transfers
2 Overhead - peer communication/transport encryption/uTP protocol
3 Measurement inaccuracy

How to know it works?
1 There is no data in Peers tab>Uploaded
2 There is no data or 0 B in Torrent Uploaded column
3 Torrent ratio column says 0.000


If you find this useful you may add this info cheatuga.

For my test purpose mod worked flawlessly.

He is explaining the reason of it show upload, i tried explain myself but , he did it way better than i could.

You aren't sending pieces as the peers request you to upload but upload speed will be showing at the status bar etc and the reasons are tha aboves ones.
Nothing can be done about it anyway, for you download you need to have upload speed, for you open a website you need to upload / send data too in a p2p programm like bittorrent with tons of request ofc you need to send requests etc, but this mod doesn't upload data but there will be communication necessary to the work of the programm still.

In short, the "upload" shown is actually communication overhead and nothing to worry about. :gsmile:

Anyway, Vation said no uploading was shown in the Peers tab, and that should be definite proof.

The first part does not exclude the second part. The only true no upload is when uT is off. No Upload Mod means that none of the torrent parts is uploaded to peers. You can quote me on that.

Is this mod detectable easily?
I have quite low speed since I started it, don't know what is the reason.

Should not make any difference for d/l speed. Try the original uT to compare.

BitTorrent uses a tit-fot-that scheme in leecher-to-leecher connections. If your torrent is full of leechers and you aren't uploading a single byte because of using this mod, others won't be generous towards you.

Not on private trackers, where most people have a seedbox or are overseeding. :wgrin:

In most cases you shouldn't notice a speed reduction, but it can happen.

Only reduction from the peers and not from the seeders, and like you said i don't think it matter much in private trackers.

We could so report 0% to peers and we would have top priority, but isn't worth it.

Is it possible to have two utorrent versions (original & above one) on one computer ?
I am asking because I installed both of them: original in /Program Files/utorrent as utorrent.exe and modded in /Program Files/utorrent2 as utorrent2.exe
But when I use for example original one for a some time, then quit and wanna to use modded, modded version starts with a Installation Wizard. And vice versa. That's quite annoying.
And it doesn't help to have separate installation or portable media :(
How to do it?

Of course it is possible (it does not matter if one of the modded or not)!

You're going to need to keep both executables on separate folders and with their respective configuration files there, though.
