Saw it last night! Good movie, three hours pass by really fast. In the end I was sad! I do think Infinity War was a better movie!
I saw it today. I think it was a nice closing of the series!
Looking forward to watch it , right now the cinemas are too crowded , I will wait some days more haha
It made 1.2 billion dollars in first week worldwide :shockkk!:
Well, I haven't seen a movie this hyped in a long time, so it's no surprise.
i'll check it out when the bluray gets released, no need to fall for the hype
people who didn't like it say its overlong with too many boring flashbacks and unnecessary dialogue
I haven't watched it yet, will wait for the pirated version as I'm boycotting the theater in lieu of brie larson's attitudes. But I have already taken all the spoilers, either from whatsapp groups or some of my idiotic friends. Hah take that Hellman!
Yeah, I heard about those 15 minutes lol. There's also some people on the internet melting down because of that and the fact other female actress didn't have too much screen time either. BS.
There's a whole politically correct scene and everything where suddenly all the men are MIA and there's this whole girl-power thing going on. Even though I'm a huge supporter that us women should get more screen time in stuff like this, equality and all, and even though it only lasts a few minutes, this felt incredibly forced and made me feel uneasy.
While I loved that someone like Cpt Marvel is a part of the whole thing, the only reason I'm glad she's only in the movie for less than 15 minutes is because she's just _too_ powerful of a hero. Superman is nothing in comparison and he's already ridiculous.
@Sazzy, that "girl power" scene was so fuckin stupid. I have no problem with strong women (Wonder Woman), but that was just not necessary. Not to mention in what position SpiderMan was just before that.
I mean, that's basically what I just said :P
which just goes to show how this is not about correctness, but about a power struggle - not to mention that they are going against what is spiritually correct, which means their efforts will not only certainly fail but also in the meantime increase negative consequences for themselves and for current societiesQuote:

It was full of shit.. Lazy writing, logic blown away just 4 the sake of the plot.. Characters ruined just 4 comedy, far too streched..
it had its moments but mostly was shit

i'll keep in mind to spoil the next big movie as soon as it theaters
What logic? And what comedy?
I wouldn't go as far as call it shit. It's better than most mediocre movies
mild spoilers ahead...
weak/boring scenes:
- hawk-eye's introductory 'where's my family' scene
- iron man's monologue, rescue by cpt. marvel, lashing out on teammates
- cpt. america's AA-like meeting
- ant man's bumbling introductory 'where am i' scene
- spider-man's babbling idolatry of ironman
unconvincing scenes:
- easily overpowering thanos at the beginning - he is supposed to be very powerful, as seen in the final battle
- quantum theory backing up wild scriptwriter ideas - using nonsense to explain nonsense doesn't work
- time travel - sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no 'past' to travel to, there is only the present, which keeps changing every single moment as long as the period of manifestation lasts, which is then followed by a period of un-manifestation, and so the cycles of materialistic manifestation are endlessly repeated
- testing the effects of time travel: 'are you ok? yeah'
- meeting your past selves - there are no multiple selves, in other words, this is not doable
- thanos finding out time travelers are also looking for the infinity stones (time traveling time stamps lol)
- elderly mr. secretary trying to take a suitcase from superheroes by force
- infinity stones control time but when they are destroyed what controls the time then?
- time travel works on asgard (representing the heavenly realm)
- thor's mother raised by witches (only demigods and their associates live in the heavenly realm, no witches there)
- multiple incompetence episodes from iron man
- cgi: fake head on another body (obvious with michael douglas cameo)
- cpt. america finds the office of his fiancee by coincidence
- she's not coming back... what happened to the time travel and multiple selves scenario?
- nebula's alien technology fingers compatible to terran hardware/software
- cpt. america wields thor's hammer
- convenient appearance of many other marvel superheroes (even pepper potts went to the battle) from multiple dimensional doors
- another time machine appears when needed but it is placed in the middle of the battlefield so it can be destroyed when needed
- overpowered but underused female superheroes, often incompetent/helpless male superheroes
out of character scenes:
- thor, the drunkard who failed, an emotional wreck
- iron man, the family guy
- hawk-eye, the killer
- hulk, the peaceful giant
- cpt. america, the AA-like counselor
- cpt. marvel, the leading 'guy'
- raccoon slaps thor around
deceptive/indoctrinatory scenes:
- masonic foundation of this movie is symbolized by the statue of 'liberty', representing luciferian doctrine
- cpt. america in his AA-like meeting approves of thanos eliminating half of the population - this is echoing the masonic desire to wipe out 6,5 billions of people (out of 7 billion), as stated on the georgia guidestones, ie. it is playing with the idea of eugenic depopulation
- constant egoistic bickering between team members, ridiculing/disrespecting each other - superheroes used to promote modern behavioral standards
- no one minds lying to or using inappropriate language in front of children, civilized behavior down the drain
- biased depiction of females (positive, powerful, leading positions), blacks (positive, though mostly as side-kicks or successors of white people)
- hollywood self referencing (mentioning movie names in self-worship)
- a demigod (thor) that somehow misinterprets impermanence of the materialistic world as all-pervasive or his mother (a demigodess) who somehow mis-concludes how everyone fails to be what they are supposed to be
- searching for 'power items', promotion of sorcery, misdirection: the 'forces of darkness' are other... sorcerers
- we're gonna win - whatever it takes; there's nothing i wouldn't do for my kid (moral relativism)
- cpt. america, when given a chance, chooses to satisfy his own desires (fiancee), as opposed to his superhero duties
- shield agent in the back (representing higher levels of the deep state, manipulating from behind the scenes), iron man crying out for a reduction of civil liberties (in favor of a totalitarian state)
the good:
- solid cgi but nothing groundbreaking, average animated motion scenes
- some funny scenes
conclusion:
first third of this 3h long movie is filled with slow paced melancholy, where everyone seems sad, depressed or dissatisfied, the events are uninteresting or flat - its like they are all sad to be in the 'last' avengers movie - the rest is mostly action with many unconvincing scriptwriter solutions, making this yet another in a long line of semi-satisfactory throwaway superhero movies
of course, as expected. the only reason for watching something like this is the vfx. if you expect anything else, bad luck :P
as for brie larson, i really like her. it's great and rare to have somebody who's not a PR robot and actually dares to say what's actually on their mind.
and about the enforced political correctness see https://www.sb-innovation.de/showthr...229#post353229
i will give a short review overhere : quitted watching around the end when all the avengers gathered to fight
it remainded me about my childhood when i've played with superheroes toys just that right now is on screen and i'm 32
don't want to offend anybody but unless you have a small child mind in a full grown man body (or woman) or you are younger than 17 you can't watch this until the end
I haven't bothered with superhero movies other than the ones that make fun of the genre, so I'll have the last laugh here :weirdo:
such as ? Superhero Movie? Epic Movie - Disaster Movie
loved those + Superhero Movie- Epic Movie - Disaster Movie wich even if are rated bad are good
many more ahead bud :top:Quote:
I'm 33, I never really played with superhero toys, was more into those tiny cars
I think I watched every Marvel movie, since first Iron Man. Some are good, some arent.
I think Endgame is an OK movie, Infinity War was much better for me!
i've played with superhero toys, tiny cars, legos, toy soldiers in different orders starting with tiny cars - i still have them gathered around in bags placed in attic - also collected a lot of kinder eggs toys
watched them also and liked all of them except avengers series - wich felt stupid for me- expecially when they cinematically round up and line up for battle like i'm sellecting MK character to play withQuote:

Legos are awesome but looking at the prices now as an adult, that stuff is hella expensive
When I was a kid, my parents bought me Legos police station. It was huge! When it was built I would leave it on top of old closet. So one day i was home alone, and I wanted to take out something from that same closet, instead of standing on kitchen chair I stood on chair that had wheels on it. I open the closet door, and the chair started moving, so in that moment I was holding a closet door, and me, closet and legos all fell down. That was the end of my Legos police station! Oh and I broke the glass on table that was in living room! true story!
That they are, but the price is worth it. Or at least, the cheaper alternatives weren't as good.

These buckets from a local brand often had more snow roofs (i.e. pieces of green plastic bent in two) than doors or windows :freesty: What were you supposed to build with that, a CIA black site?
You should never stand on a wheeled chair, Natsuki's route in Doki Doki Literature Club taught us that :gnoes: Anyway, I'm surprised you were able to accidentally demolish the police station (and part of your house) like that, in my experience Legos are super sturdy.
I can't believe we talked about tiny cars without mentioning toy parking lots, the kind with several floors and a hand-operated elevator. Or Scalextric... where you couldn't press the joystick's button all the time to win a race, you had to slow down before turns or else the car would derail, there was clearly an element of skill involved. Oh, and RC cars, the wireless ones that needed a 9V battery for the remote control and a few AA ones on the actual car, but holy shit you were driving a toy car from a distance!
The police station was over 2m high, so when it hit the ground it went to pieces everywhere :D
i've quit video playing way before that - when all of them come togheter face to face with monsters horde was : viewer discretion advised : "over 10 years old not allowed" - intensive stupidity and childish script acting aheadQuote:
So did you stick to the part when all of women come together in that shot?
That was bleh for me!

Tiny cars were awesome, Kinder and McDonald's Happy Meals toys too. But Legos and Meccanos were the best, you could build so many things with them. Now there's been a paradigm shift and the only toy children want is a tablet
i was born and lived (still live there) in a small town- back than McDonald was only in the country capital (i quess)- 93-98 - hence no access for me - so no McDonald's Happy Meals toys - hell - i rarelly eat from mcdonald even now -expecially now when i've started working out and take more care about what i eat
Meccanos didn't have and it wasen't a big appeal for me - but i remember i was a lego addicted in late years - wishing to buy every lego box i've managed to find in shops - even legos wasen't so abundant back than in shops in small cities
now evey kid desire something from tech area - toys where thrown in the recycle bin around 10 years ago
from what i remeber they where expensive even back than in my country - right now as an adult i started to realise how many sacrifices parents made to buy me expensive toysQuote:
