Hi,
I was just wondering which is good for games..
a pc or a xbox 360.

There are many games which the developers do not make for pc console.
Both have advantages and disadvantages!
Some games better fit for PC and some for XBOX
Time ago, when only PS2 and XboX existed, the good games were on PC...
If you were going to use a PC 80% for games, then I would suggest you to buy a console.
jailbroken PS3 is far better...
i have both XBOX and PS3
So here's the skinny...
On most PC games you can pirate to your hearts content. You can play most games, except some online ones--for nothing. When you actually do feel like paying something for games, you just wait for Steam to have a sale and get thirty games for a nickel. The downside is that you'd be part of a community that is in the minority these days. The PC scene is very far from dead, and some would even argue that it's making a comeback--the truth of which is yet to be seen. The big downside is that if you want to play with your friends, they have to have one too. And they ain't exactly cheap.
On console, it's somewhat the same regarding piracy. You can mod your console and (in most cases) will be unable to play online while you do so. If you do feel like buying games, console titles typically hold their value much longer than their PC counterparts, and it's not unusual to be paying full retail six months to a year after release. The solutions for this are typically rental programs that resemble Netflix which is another monetary consideration in addition to console peripherals and accessories which all seem to hold their value at the same level over the years. So all in all, I'd say consoles are a much more expensive venture if you plan to buy games legitimately. The largest advantage, in my opinion, is the ability to have multiple players all on one machine.
So there are a few things to mull over. Pick your poison. Each is rather distinctive in it's own right.
if u want to play RTS games , consoles suck
other than that PC or xbox are both good
I'd go for a console. In your case an X360 will be a better choice, and its cheaper if you just wanna play games.
Regards.
Both are good, but i prefer PC
I like Xbox360 bcz we need to mess upl a lot while games in PC...
A pc for ego-shooter/strategy and if you need to use it for productive-stuff.
For every other kind of Game the 360 should/could be preferred.
I think both of them very good for game. I like play FPS game in PC and Race game in console. :D
with fan-made mods, I feel PC is more preferable.
A modded Xbox 360 (with homebrew) is better.
Have both but PC is closer to my heart
Pc is way better than concoles.
There is only few games on console worth mentioning
GOW,Demon souls and dante's inferno
All other games are better on PC
Consoles are ruining gaming on PC
You forgot Gears of War!
pc with an xbox controller - best of both worlds...
I say Xbox 360 because of Xbox Live, but if you have a nice enough PC then games will obviously look better on it.
XBOX mostly for all multi-platforms and most of games, but for games like, Total War, Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft - PC.
The capability of aiming close to fast and accurate with a controller is just not existent. Mouse/Keyboard are the superior choice for everything but sport games/racing games. The same for RPGs, you just got more buttons (skills) on the Keyboard you can access without cracking your fingers than on a controller.
The question is what are you want to play?
Not all games are on pc but every game are on console.
A pc for gaming cost minimal 800€ and a console 200-350€.
So look what you like to play and than buy.
i read the same thing about 5 years ago.
and 10 years previous to that...
...and 10 years previous to that...
the slow, drawn out death of pc games being distributed on physical media is the only hump in the road. look at steam. blossoming. yeah, all steam games can be cracked and played online on official servers, but the ball ache involved if you can't be bothered to check daily for fresh cracks is a pain in the ass to a lot of people.
also, saying there is not many decent console games is absolute b.s.
people who spout that junk are not gamers. end of story. break out of your shell and PLAY some games.
i think the bad thing on PC games is the fact u have to buy new hardware if u wanna play the game at higher quality
and if you buy a console u can play any new game with the same quality instead of buy new hardware
i gave up play in PC because of the costs with new hardware
unfortunately i guess they make games for PC just to sell more graphic cards
but there are some still worth to play like MMORPG and some FPS
also if u wanna have fun with variety is better to buy a console since is much cheaper and don't end up loosing his quality on new games
the hardware argument with pc's is fading rapidly though - the times of needed to upgrade every 6 months are long gone, unless you're a complete graphics whore.
3 years ago, i built a pc - the gfx card cost me £60 (it's a 1gb 9600gt) and is easily the weakest part of the system, but i could run crysis from day one, and can still run any of the latest games - maybe i can't run everything with all settings on max, but stuff like starcraft 2 runs flawlessly on max settings...
I'd say the PC since it's a multifunctional device. As far as gaming specifically is concerned, I'd say it's still up to par with the latest consoles - there are some games that simply work best with a mouse in your hand and a keyboard at your disposal. My opinion is pretty biased though as I never really owned a console apart from the old PSX and a Gameboy Pocket ^.^
if you like Strategy games pc is good for you but you need good computer, if you like consoles with amazing graphic and you playing more 5 or 6 hours ps3 is good for you of course with jailbreak.
sorry i hate xbox 360.
of course PC is better nowadays
it has a lot of games
If you like fightings, arcades, simulators, slashers - X-Box, no doubt. If shooters/RTS/TBS - PC. :)
by 'fightings', i guess you mean beat 'em ups, and if you're playing them on the xbox, you're playing them on the wrong platform (outside of the arcade).
anyone who's serious about beat 'em ups plays them on the ps3, tournaments are held on ps3 versions only, and the controllers, well, i just hope for your sake that you're playing on a fight stick if you own an x-box...
Fighting is 1v1 game: Fighting game - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I love them since sega mega drive :) It's ok to play fighting on PC too (I LOVE GGX!). The bad thing is developers who ignore PC. Why no Tekken on PC!?
xbox is more fun, when u have friends or ppl over (since you can play on ur tv) . PC , is fun too, just suck to play with a lot of ppl if u have a small screen.
i think he means splitscreen
PC, mos def!
xbox is no 1 for me no trojan virus good game
xbox very funny ,, the new add (kinect) is intelligent
My Xbox 360 does me good...... :D
