Ab dem vierten Quartal 2013 sollen entsprechende Produkte verfügbar sein, so besagt es zumindest ein Präsentations-Sheet, das vom russischen Magazin 'Always More Digital' veröffentlicht wurde. Aktuell bietet Western Digital im Rahmen seiner WD Green-Serie externe Speicher mit bis zu 3 Terabyte Kapazität an.

Tja, WD belebt das Geschäft, technisch alles kein Problem mehr solange man USB 3.0 oder Thunderbolt hat denn alles andere als USB 2.0 macht dann wirklich keinen Spaß mehr es sei denn man geht zwischen durch mal für 8 Std. seiner Arbeit nach.
PS. Mir macht ja die Zukunft ein wenig Angst welchen Kapazitäten sind wohl in den nächsten 5-10 Jahren möglich bzw. welche Schnittstellen gewähren den rasanten Datendurchfluß...
