Faze Mod 0.1 Public Beta

the client itself is written in python which is an interpreted language, therefore you should be able to run it in linux largely bug/glitch free :smile:

edit: oops, seems not. that error looks pretty much like corecore's... try dropping msvcp71.dll in the mod's folder AND the wine equivalent of system32 like he did, that solved his problem...

you can get the DLL here.

edit 2: corecore, i'm using update 1 of your release, and trying to "make default BT client" associates .torrent files with "(install dir)\bittornado.exe" when the mod's EXE is called fazemod.exe :smile:

Thanks looking into fixing it (the hard way, updated code). I will push out and update in a bit even if its a simple fix for now. (just changing the exe name) & shortcuts to it.

sure that he wants only money that is the reason why he have only a blog without a forum to give support.

we will think about a solution and how we manage to maybe dont release full versions of faze for public

beside this the faze mod has a new feature that even shu dont have it is a customable left value that you can set with a byte number that you wish. in combination with noreport leecher a really powerfull option that faze has.

Maybe you should create an area which is only accessible for "trusted members" or only give a downloadlink per PM.

So you could at least reduce the number of possible stealers and maybe catch "the one".

This function will multiply your real upload. If you have 5 kbits upload and you have set this setting to 10, then is 5*10 kbits upload send to the tracker (50 kbits).

oh, one problem: i see in the menu, the (real) upload speed. UL Speed. But i can't see the fake upload speed in real time :(

Yes, thats right. In the future i will work to display the "Fake Upload Speed" and other columns.

Another problem: when your torrent hash check is run, and you want "Remove Torrent and Files", the program crash.
