I just tried to open the VMDK and IMG files with WinImage, and there was "nothing". Furthermore, ISOBuster asked me if I wanted to scan for missing files before finding a few ones:

I hate the idea of a cloud OS, but damn, if it really does boot that fast, I can't say no. :P
There are other Linux systems that can boot fast, too. And Google wants to improve the startup time even further...
You can make instant "boot" in windows easy. Just never turn off PC completly. Use S3 (suspend to RAM) standbye mod and when you want to start work again PC is ready within few seconds ;)
Thats what I use if I want some peace from constant noise that vents make.
