No, :wink2: i meant u said before as i remember the upload in version 1.9 of utorrent going higher than the speed i limited so there is a value i can set to fix this .
for example i set my upload limited to 2k/s but its higher than 5k/s .

Is this shown on the status bar, or individual torrents? Is DHT enabled?Quote:

before i set :
net.calc_overhead = false
it was 7k/s
How often does that happen? Every now and then would be normal, specially with lots of torrents running, and since you're relying on uTP.
the upload speed never back to 2k/s the speed always above 3k/s to 4.5k/s also have a lot of torrents seeding.

may be these fixes in the last version :
Quote:
-- 2009-05-05: Version 1.9 (build 15380)
- Fix: uTP packet size fix. Sometimes it would send packets exceeding MTU. Fixes long standing rate oscillations.
- Fix: DHT bootstrap failures now have an exponential back-off
That could be the cause (rate limiting isn't byte-exact and your seeding torrents could be "fighting" to upload), on the other side:Quote:
also have a lot of torrents seeding.
Sounds like your problem. Can you check if it persists when using the official uT 1.9 Build 15380? If it doesn't, I'll mod it soon.Quote:

It could because a lot of torrents as u said cause the last official alpha have the same problem.

Any way waiting for it to be mod in ur free time.:top:
Hello anon,
hello mmmmm,
I've also noticed the described "failure" regarding the upload-limit in the status-bar in older versions - in fact utorrent 1.61, 1.77 and 1.81.
It really seems that the upload-limit isn't all byte-exact with some more torrents in seed (i would say > 5 torrents).
So don't set the upload-limit to the max allowed values of the tracker - set it 3 or 4 bytes below it.
Hello,
I hate to say it but upon scanning this package i have found possible infections !!?
Iam aware it could be verry well "false positives", but for one its the first time i downloaded a possible infected .rar "from here onsite innovation" and well respected AV like Avira, avast and a few others reports infections !!?
These are the few reports:
AntiVir TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen
Avast Win32:JunkPoly
CAT-QuickHeal (Suspicious) - DNAScan
GData Win32:JunkPoly
McAfee-GW-Edition Trojan.Crypt.XPACK.Gen
cheers,
regards
Yes, they're false positives indeed, caused by the packer I used to protect the mods.
Your upload and download aren't reported to the tracker.
You are also not shown in the peerlist.
Unfortunately it doesn't work on all trackers.
Tested on BitMe
so just to make this clear to my self if anyone can answer, this does work on Bitme till today ?
Hi
i need help !
when i use utorrent 1.9 alpha and after download ended i close utorrent
but when i want to use it again i see the seeders and peers but nothing downloading...?
the connection network is still alive...?
any suggestion..?
Thanks A lot
Um... the torrent has fully downloaded yes? So then what else is there to download? Nothing. You still see seeders and peers because those are stats reported by the tracker.
