- Internetanschluss mit einer Bandbreite von bis zu 16 Mbit/s (ADSL2+): 75 GByte Transfervolumen
- Internetanschluss mit einer Bandbreite von bis zu 50 Mbit/s (VDSL): 200 GByte Transfervolumen
- Internetanschluss mit einer Bandbreite von bis zu 100 Mbit/s (Glasfaseranschluss oder VDSL-Vectoring): 300 GByte Transfervolumen
- Internetanschluss mit einer Bandbreite von bis zu 200 Mbit/s (Glasfaseranschluss): 400 GByte Transfervolumen

Vorerst soll eine Drosselung praktisch aber nicht stattfinden, die Telekom sichert sich nur das Recht dazu zu. Wann die Umsetzung erfolge, hänge "von der Verkehrsentwicklung im Internet ab". Die Telekom begründet das damit, dass der Kunde für diese Leistungen extra bezahlt. Bürgerrechtler und Verbraucherschützer kritisieren eine solche Praxis als Verstoß gegen die Netzneutralität.
Eine Farce in Zeiten des Internets, und das Zauberwort wird wieder heißen "Zubuchoption", nichts anders als den Kunden noch mehr Geld abschöpfen hat die Telekom im Sinn, ich kann nur hoffen das die Kunden sich ihren Teil denken und ihnen den Rücken kehren, sollte es mich treffen bin ich längst dort Kunde gewesen, was nicht nur das Internet betrifft, sondern Entertain und auch Festnetz-Flat...

Wär prinzipiell nicht schlecht, wird aber nicht passieren. Ich hätte gern das schwedische System in Sachen Internetinfrastruktur. Soweit ich das verstanden hab hat der Staat das Monopol baut aber flächendeckend gut aus und verkauft die Leitungen an die Provider weiter damit die Support etc. machen.
Das sage ich ja schon immer: Infrastruktur muss staatlich bleiben.

Bislang steht die Telekom allein auf weiter Flur und bekommt die volle Wucht des Shitstorms zu spüren. Um die eigenen Kunden nicht zu verprellen, haben sich andere Internetanbieter schnell von der DSL-Drosselung distanziert. Vodafone hat derartige Pläne am Dienstag explizit dementiert - obwohl das Unternehmen das Leitungs-Netz der Telekom nutzt. Mittlerweile ist auch die Politik auf das Aus der DSL-Flatrate bei der Deutschen Telekom aufmerksam geworden. Lars Klingbeil, der netzpolitische Sprecher der SPD-Bundestagsfraktion, sieht nach der Ankündigung der Telekom zur DSL-Drosselung "gesetzgeberischen Handlungsbedarf zur Sicherung der Netzneutralität". Auch das Cnetz, ein Verein für Netzpolitik der Union, fordert selbige. Zwar dürfte es einigen Politikern mehr um Prestige und Stimmen gehen als um die Gleichbehandlung von Datenpaketen. Doch die Chance, die dringend nötigen Gesetzesgrundlagen für ein freies, offenes Internet zu schaffen, dürfte im Wahlkampf weitaus höher sein.
Die Politik hat das Thema lang genug im Schneckentempo vor sich hergeschoben. Nun ist es Zeit, Gas zu geben: Damit das Internet für alle High-Speed bleibt.
Na dann wollen wir mal zu unser aller Wohl hoffen, dass es der Politik gelingt die Netzneutralität aufrecht zu erhalten bzw. dass man im Sinne zukünftiger Bandbreite entscheidet anstatt den Schritt zurück zu den 90ern gut zu heißen...

Das Video hat mir nicht gut gefallen es ist nicht so neutral sondern beeinflussed. Anders als die anderen Videos auf seinem Channel da ist es nicht so extrem.-
Kann man Videos überhaupt neutral gestalten?
In Anbetracht der Auswirkungen ist das Video sogar noch zurückhaltend.
Nur die Zeitskala wird möglicherweise noch ausgedehnt werden. - Der Rest wird so ablaufen, wenn niemand etwas dagegen unternimmt.
Schon heute verlangt die Telekom Geld von Anbietern für die Kopplung an ihre Netze.
Dabei werden bevorzugt abgelegene Standorte, die nur durch die Telekom angebunden sind, vorgeschlagen.
Hier sehen wir auch ein Problem des Kapitalismus:
Die Freiheit aller wird durch die Profitgier einzelner eingeschränkt.

Telekom-Drosselung: Nicht nur Neukunden betroffen
Die Pläne für eine DSL-Drosselung bei Anschlüssen der Deutschen Telekom war in den vergangenen Wochen auf harte Kritik gestoßen. Bei Neukunden ab dem 2. Mai 2013 soll nach dem Verbrauch eines monatlichen Daten-Volumens die Surf-Geschwindigkeit eingeschränkt werden. Nun gibt es deutliche Hinweise, dass im Zuge der Umstellung auf IP-Technologie auch sämtliche Alt-Verträge betroffen sein könnten.

Denn die Deutsche Telekom will bis 2016 alle Analog- und ISDN-Anschlüsse auf IP-Technologie umstellen. Das heißt, dass Telefonie per Voice-over-IP übertragen wird, also die Internet-Technologie für alle Dienste verwendet wird. Wie Heise und Teltarif im Februar berichteten, läuft derzeit ein freiwilliger Test mit einer kleinen Zielgruppe, die Telekom plane aber, “alle Bestandskunden innerhalb der nächsten drei Jahre – also bis 2016 – auf IP-basierte Anschlüsse umzustellen”. Was auch Telekom-Sprecher Niels Hafenrichter bestätigte.
Der Clou dabei: Eine solche Umstellung würde offenbar ein neues Vertragsverhältnis erwirken, das auf den dann geltenden AGB beruht – die ab Mai 2013 eine Drosselungsklausel enthalten.
Schon vergangene Woche hatte Chip.de diesen Zusammenhang hergestellt: Der erzwungene Wechsel zu neuen IP-Verträgen sein ein “Trick”, die DSL-Drosselung auch für die 12 Millionen Bestandskunden einzuführen.
Das Pottblog fragte nun bei der Telekom nach:
Das heißt im Endeffekt sind 11 Mio Breitbandkunden demnächst von der möglichen Drosselung betroffen, da die nicht IP-Kunden nach Telekom-Auskünften bis 2016 alle umgestellt werden. Diese bekommen nach meinen Informationen neue Verträge – die dann mit den neuen Regelungen ausgestattet wären. Oder irre ich mich da?
Die Antwort:
von der Volumenbegrenzung ist bis 2016 faktisch niemand betroffen, weil wir sie bis dahin nicht technisch umsetzen werden. Und selbst wenn sie umgesetzt ist, werden die allermeisten Kunden davon nichts merken, weil die Inklusivvolumina ausreichen. Wenn das Volumen nicht reichen sollte, können die Kunden problemlos Highspeedvolumen nachbuchen – wie im Mobilfunk auch.
Die ausweichende Antwort deutet auf ein klares Kalkül – die Telekom hofft, dass niemand merkt, wie hier durch die Hintertür ALLE Kunden von der DSL-Drosselung betroffen sein werden. “Der Anschluss der nächsten Generation”, womit der Konzern seinen IP-Anschluss bewirbt, würde in Wirklichkeit alle bisherigen Generationen in ein begrenztes Netz zwingen, das bestimmte Inhalte je nach Wirtschaftlichkeit bevorzugt und andere schwerer erreichbar macht.
Was kann man tun? Die Petition beim Deutschen Bundestag hat schon über 100.000 Unterzeichner, unklar bleibt, ob sich ein Unternehmen wie die Telekom von dieser politischen Forderung beeindrucken lässt. Wer Telekom-Bestandskunde ist, könnte versuchen, noch vor dem 2. Mai 2013 die Umstellung auf IP in Auftrag zu geben. Es gilt die AGB bei Vertragsabschluss.
Die Telekom erkennt einfach nicht die Zeichen der Zukunft, gerade als Branchenführer hatte ich mehr Weitblick und Verstand erwartet, aber nein sie will mit aller Macht eine 2 Klassengesellschaft!
Die einen weniger privieliegierten die sollen surfen mit Geschwindigekeiten zur Zeiten der 90er Jahre, und die Elite darf zu höher Zahlungen surfen zu Geschwindigekiten inkl. echter Flatrate wie es eigentlich normal sein sollte im 21 Jahrhundert...

Die Deutsche Telekom AG hat nun offiziell bekannt gegeben, dass man ab Mai eine Klausel in Festnetz Neuverträgen vorfindet, die eine Drosselung der Surfgeschwindigkeit ab einem gewissen Volumen erlaubt (ähnlich wie bei Mobilfunkverträgen). Jedoch werden Angebote der Telekom wie Entertain von diesem Volumen ausgenommen. Dadurch sind beispielsweise Kunden anderer Streaminganbieter im Nachteil, da die Bandbreite ab einem gewissen Zeitpunkt nicht ausreicht. Dies ist ein Einschnitt in die Netzneutralität!

2016 ist nicht 2013
Die heutige Internet-Realität entspricht nicht der von 2016, liebe Telekom. Schon gar der von uns »Heavy Gamern«! Petra Schmitz wirft einen Blick ins Jahr 2016, wenn die Telekom die Volumentarife einführen will.

Und auch wenn die 75 Gigaybyte Highspeed-Traffic, die für mich als Besitzerin einer 16-Mbit/s-Leitung der Telekom (mehr geht in meinem Kuhdorf noch nicht) ab 2016 im Grundpaket stecken, jetzt schon nicht meiner Lebenswirklichkeit entsprechen. Genau das Doppelte, nämlich 150 GByte fielen letzten Monat bei meinem Freund und mir an.
Ein frischer Battlefield 3 -Download schlug allein mit 34 GByte zu Buche, was nach den Plänen der Telekom 45 Prozent meines Inklusiv-Highspeed-Pakets ausmachen würde. Dazu addierten sich Bioshock Infinite (etwas über 17 GByte), aus Jux mal Star Wars: The Old Republic (über 23 GByte), diverse Einkäufe bei Gog.com und Steam, Updates, nicht zu knappe Online-Spielzeit, Youtube und, und, und. Okay, es war ein extremer Monat. Und okay, eigentlich sollte ich mir keine Gedanken um 2016 machen müssen, denn die Volumentarife gelten laut Telekom-Ankündigung nur für Neukunden. Zunächst mal! Wer annimmt, das würde so bleiben, glaubt bestimmt auch immer noch, dass diese Online-Aktivierungen bei PC-Spielen nur ein vorübergehender Trend seien. Ich als Bestandskunde hab mich geistig jedenfalls auch schon von meiner Flatrate verabschiedet.

Das Unternehmen bestätigte die Pläne ebenfalls gegenüber der CRN. Van Damme ging auf die schon zuvor öffentlich gewordenen Mutmaßungen ein, dass auch Bestandskunden von den Änderungen betroffen sind. Bis spätestens 2018 sollen alle DSL-Nutzer der Telekom [1] unter die Begrenzung der Datendrosselung fallen. Zwar kann das Unternehmen nicht in bestehende Verträge eingreifen, die Umstellung auf die »IP-Technik« macht diesen Schritt jedoch möglich. Alle Nutzer müssen mit dem Wechsel auch die neuen AGBs akzeptieren. Vorerst ist dies noch optional, ab 2018 könnte die Unterschrift jedoch verpflichtend sein. Laut Van Damme bringt die Umstellung klare Vorteile: » Schon heute hat IP entscheidende Vorteile, etwa bessere Sprachqualität sowie zwei Leitungen und bis zu zehn Rufnummern und das bis zu vier Euro billiger.«
Trotz massiver Kritik aus der Politik und den Medien, könnten ab spätestens 2018 über elf Millionen Telekom-Kunden von den Tarifänderungen betroffen sein. Der Telekom Deutschland [2]-Chef sagt zusätzlich, dass das Thema zu wichtig sei, als dass das Unternehmen zurückrudern könnte und dass man versucht, »etwas Richtiges zu tun.«
Zusätzliche Kritikfläche dürfte die Umgehung der Traffic-Obergrenzen bieten. Nach eigenen Aussagen führt die Telekom [3] derzeit Gespräche mit den großen Content-Anbietern des Internets, die für den Großteil des Traffic verantwortlich zeichnen. Das Unternehmen räumt Online-Unternehmen wie Google (YouTube) die Option ein, Geld an den Provider zu zahlen und die Obergrenzen der Nutzer nicht durch den eigenen Datenverkehr zu beeinflussen.
Seht euch den fett markierten Satz genau an, und ab da heißt es für mich spätestens und Tschüß...

Die Telekom agiert geschickt. Derzeit sind nur ca. 2% (?) der User bei der Telekom davon betroffen, wenn die Drosselung kommt. De Telekom rechtfertigt also die Drosselung, indem sie behauptet, dass nur ein kleiner Teil der Kunden überhaupt etwas davon bemerken wird. Diese sogenannten PowerUser sollen also mehr bezalen, damit es für die Gesamtheit der Kunden nicht teurer wird. Nur beruht diese Behauptung auf aktuellen Zahlen, denn Dienste wie Watchever, iTunes, Maxdome und Co. werden immer beliebter, bekannter, günstiger und vorallem einfacher in der Usability. Dies wird den Markt in den nächsten Jahren Für die Breite Masse öffnen. Das Datenvolumen wird damit massiv ansteigen und es wären von einer Droesslung nicht mehr 2% sondern erheblich mehr Kunden betroffen. Die Folgen sind höhere Preise für die Kunden, die entweder durch hinzubuchen von Zusatzvolumen entstehen oder höhere Nutzungspreise von watchever und Co. wenn diese sich bei der Telekom freikaufen. Die Telekom verdient somit Auf jedenfall mehr Geld, ob das nun direkt vom Kunden kommt oder von den Diensteanbietern.
Die netzneutralität ist damit auf jedenfall stark gefährdet. Die Telekom hat eine Vorreiterstellung und es bleibt abzuwarten, wie der Wettbewerb reagiert. Führen diese keine Drosselung ein, so wird sich dies äußerst negativ bei der Telekom auswirken. Ziehen diese aber dem Marktführer (?) nach, hat der Kunde so oder so keine Wahl mehr und alle Anbieter verdienen mehr. Der Wettbewerb muss also entscheiden. Ob er mehr Geld durch neue Kunden oder durch das gleiche Modell wie die Telekom verdienen will.
