With "VM" I mean what is commonly known as a Java Runtime Environment, i.e. what you need to run Java applications, not a full-fledged virtual machine like VirtualBox.

I'm pretty sure I have java installed because I use jDownloader which requires java to run. Also are you talking about Java on Ubuntu or Wine (Windows)? I have it on Ubuntu and it is latest release V8.

As said above I'm using RatioMaster Plus 1.4.1 (again cause I can make my own client files).

Though I'm waiting for an update to mRatio wherein you can enter your own peerid/key/port instead of relying on memory reader. Because Tixati (the client I use) generates an individual peerid/key for every different torrent file loaded. And it would seem suspicious if one leeches with a different peerid/key and seeds with a different peerid/key.

The best thing I like about mRatio is the multiple torrent spoofing feature in a single instance.

Java on Ubuntu. If you have version 8 and jDownloader runs you should be all set, were you able to get Vuze to work? There is a tutorial at https://www.sb-innovation.de/showthread.php?t=16869

I've used Vuze two years prior to qBittorrent and Tixati and I didn't like the GUI. Honestly I prefer Tixati to any other clients out there especially since I use a VPN and it is highly configurable and extremely informative. Thank you for the recommendation though!:smile:

There are several errors in that client file (query string parameters are unsorted, the HTTP protocol version and User-Agent are incorrect), so you shouldn't be using it either way.

Since the request structures for Deluge 1.3.15 (which I recently wrote a client file for) and qBittorrent are very similar, I took the time to make RM 1.9.2 clients for the last two versions of qBt. Consider them a learning experience (to compare and see where you made mistakes) and not something actually meant to be used, because...
