Computer restored, technician didn't save my partial and awaiting to download list...
My computer got stuck and I reset it and got caught in a loop where I couldn't restart it. I ended up taking it to the place I bought it where they saved most of my data and restored/rebooted/reinstalled my OS..
They said they couldn't save torrents on U-Torrent - and I had a bunch of them that were awaiting download and in various stages of completion.
So, I went to the various sites to recreate my list; I found a torrent, clicked download and surprise! U-Torrent started to check it and it was one that was 100% and then it moved it to "completed torrents."
So.......the torrents are obviously somewhere in my computer? Where? How to find them? THANKS very much.....
Thank you SeallLion very much
I want to reply to this tonight while I read it and don't want to forget. I will try what you said, about looking for my torrent files....
But I was also concerned about the queued files, with zero percent downloaded. Often on does a lot of looking for them, reading about them, research on whether one even wants to download them........unfortunately with a very slow DSL connection, it is often easier, so I thought, to queue them up in U-Torrent.......and download them when I had time. However, I'm finding it more convenient to write important things down on paper in a spiral notebook. Seems with viruses and whatnot, I'm always losing data.
Thanks
Clarification about the rules and how to reply to forum posts
As one of my Public Library clerks, originally from Poland, so eloquently put it, language is a flexible, living thing and as such, no matter how well crafted the text, it can still be misinterpreted.
I am assuming "Anon's" image is referencing the rules, which I did read; I thought they meant don't put "Thanks" by itself or it would be viewed as SPAM which is why I was so careful to type two paragraphs. But I see that I have still messed up, however unintentionally, I will try to be sincere in saying 'thank you for the enlightenment.'
