Adblock Plus (http://adblockplus.org/en/installation): Save your time and traffic

Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus (http://adblockplus.org/en/installation) now and get rid of them. Right-click on a banner and choose “Adblock (http://adblockplus.org/en/installation)” from the context menu — the banner won’t be downloaded again. Maybe even replace parts of the banner address with star symbols to block similar banners as well. Or choose a filter subscription, then even this simple task will usually be unnecessary: the filter subscription will block most advertisements fully automatically.

Probably mostly of us use Firefox and have installed Adblock Plus. Now some of us wonder what filter list they should import and have no idea where to start. Here is my favorite site that i recommend you visit and choose your filter list

Rick752's EasyList Subscriptions (http://easylist.adblockplus.org/index.htm)

EasyList is necessary then you can choose all others under "verified" if you want.Good thing about this site is that all lists are tested and verified to work with main EasyList:top:

The list doesn't mention Fanboy's Adblock list (http://www.fanboy.co.nz/adblock/) (only the adult sites one). It's always worked very good for me.

So I just got this weird problem. Every site I open, the ads are opening as well, even thou I have Adblock plus. I'm using Mozilla Firefox 3.6.12. Something like this never happened before!

I think you haven't enable the subscriptions yet! You need the select according to your location and filter list.

I don't understand. I've been using this for some time now.

EDIT: I re added it and now it seems it works. :D
Don't know why it happened in the first place!
