No, the option is send modstring (that´s you want) or send random modstring.
Better is send random modstring.
Send no mod string---> ghost MOD

Choose a custom Modstring! For example "dmt 0.3".

you cannot use 'ghost mod' (anonym mode) while using some emule extended protocols which the offi client do not posses :tongue:

i was just hoping i could get this option on different mods.i guess not even a choice not anymore ,thats a shame at least leave option open for us let us make the choice

forget it, Anonym mode gets detected as Ghost mod

1. not really sense in adding feature wich identify the mod as hard leacher, expecially by the the well spreaded offi mods ..

result of such a dumb act would be exactly the reason why the feature was removed in a first place

2. to be able to use it, you would have to give up all the extended protocols which clients, sending client version and no mod version [eMule 0.49c], do not have

simply you cannot send NO MODSTRING while enjoying the advantages of aditional extended protocols

to pretend you are just an 'offi client' you must almost exceptionally BE like one

ok im starting to understand,but it seems the mods that detect ghost mods dont upload very much anyway.just thought you would let us make the choice,thats what freedom is all about.not so hard to have 2nd option

Maybe it's possible to code a feature that can detect random modstrings, but at the time of this post, and as far as I know, they can't be banned (just like this mod's "random modstring" can't be banned).

In the meantime you could block Israel, since it looks like all those queued clients come from there.

you can use ipfilter to ban Israel users,or try ZZ-RS or AJ mod,these two ones have country-filter feature.you just write the country name

most users I meet from Israel are using leecher mods like this,they send random modstring and enen steal your name. I dont know what mod it is but seems hard to be banned.

I think the mod they're using is TLN Booster, a reshacked Applejuice rip-off that seems to be very popular in Israel.

You can use the IPFilter to block that country with this method (http://www.sb-innovation.de/34145-post2.html).

AJ seems to live a hard life, banned everywhere...

I don't think so: it only searches the eD2K server and Kad for sources and has a re-use delay based on your upload speed (there's a cracked version, though), whereas the SBI-Leecher mod's ASK button also searches for XS sources and can be used whenever you want. :wink:

About banning israel... I live in Israel so i guess this wont work huh? :) and am well familiar with TLN Booster mod - must say there is nothing special about it, takes a lot of system resources and gets you average speeds...

Also - after trying a whole lot of mods through the years with a whole bunch of settings i have always came to the same conclusion - The OFF+ Mod made by NoXZ is the one to use. :top:
