Known bugs:

The event manager wasn't working until RSDx7... its strings are referenced twice each inside the EXE: once to know what to read from events.txt, and another to know what to show in the "add event" dialog. If any of them is different that its counterpart or if there's enough space to fit one reference but not the other one, the event manager is broken. Therefore I have decided to leave those strings untouched (so that events work) and make a guide picture so that you know what they mean:

Apart from that, other stuff isn't 100% translated (i.e. things like the log or some message boxes are still in german :frown:) because I couldn't find them in my resource editor. But everything else is translated :smile:


If you find any bugs (that aren't in the original german RSD but yes in this version) or places where the translation could be improved, please tell me! :biggrin:

What do you need help with? You should do fine with the default settings, just make sure the Captcha method is set to "by hand", and that you've unticked the "Reconnect after every download" checkbox, there's no wait between downloads anymore...

this is actually what i wanted to ask about :smile:
i already unticked the "Reconnect after every download" since there is no wait time anymore. but i am not sure what to do about the captcha since there is no captcha either anymore, wouldn't the "by hand" option just make the RSD hang out waiting for me and not downloading anything.

EDIT:: i just left the "anti captcha" option ticked, and it worked fine, thanks :top:

hi there anon, i tried it and it had a 60 sek count down before it downloaded the file. Have I miss something in the settings?

RSD still has to wait 30-60 seconds before downloading the file, just like when getting it yourself at RS.com.

There's no way to bypass this restriction as the download link is only supplied when the wait time is over server-side.

how can i load multiple files? i tried loading a txt file containing the links with "load container" button but it didn't work :confused2:

Copy links and paste (Ctrl+V) them into RSD one by one.

I tried to DL multiple files (multiple links). It downloaded 1 file at a time, but then it came to a point that It nolonger downloads the succeding file. I later found out after some translation of the error and that I had realized that I had exceeded my free user RS limit.

Is there a way for RSD to stop downloading the succeding list of links if the alloted downloadable size for free user has been used up? Because it makes the RSD hang. And lastly, is there a way to become a premium user without having to purchase like a bypass.

btw, to bypass for the free user download limit, I use a proxy server to shield my IP, and once i topped the limit, I change proxy server again. Is there any other better way?

Maybe you could calculate which file is going to be the last to be downloaded before reaching the limit, and set a "tag" upon it (right click -> Set/delete tag), which will make RSD stop downloading when the tag is hit.

If you're talking about the download speed throttling or wait time, then no.

If you're not behind a router (even though it sometimes works despite this, like with elephantman), you could use my IP switching script as a Reconnect.bat and set RSD to "Reconnect after every download".

Copy this to Notepad, replace CONNECTION NAME with your connection's name - keep the quotes, and rename it to something without "fancy" characters if its current name has them, and save the file somewhere with the name

"Reconnect.bat"

With the quotes!

For example:

It's how your connection is named at "Network Connections" in the Control Panel. Usually "Local Area Connection".

Hi to everybody, this my first post and it is because I`m having a problem with RSD(english).I have a premium account.I have been downloading lots of files with rsd, but nowdays the files get stuck at 4 or 5 megabyte and it shows a box with a message: RSD.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience..
