Intego has announced the release of an update to Personal Backup X5, their backup software for Mac OS X. Personal Backup X5 10.5.2 is now available for download and is a free download for registered users.
Personal Backup X5 enables users to back up files to any hard disk, network volume or optical disc. You can create bootable backups, synchronize folders or entire volumes, and more.
The new 10.5.2 release enables you to use FTP or SFTP to transfer files. You select a Network Drive as either a source or destination, then enter the server's address. You can schedule backup scripts to run at any preset times.
