MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. -- Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested a 19-year-old Indialantic man in connection to a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman on Merritt Island last month.

Colin Christopher Miller has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident that involves a death.

FHP Sgt. Kim Miller, no relation, told Local 6 News partner Florida Today that it was not clear if the teen was at fault in the crash, and he may not even have faced charges if he had stopped.

maybe so it would have been but you can never be too sure. perhaps the shock of the moment that ended up with someone dead made him freak out and drive away...

yeah thats true,most of the little Mobs members escapes/smuggling could have ended up with a small bail if they had stopped but u know the Situation is Shocky when you feel u will be arrested & future totally destroyed !!
