Change Log:

Build 304
+ Updated core to 3.1.0.0

Known Issues:
Client spoofing with plugin to peers is NOT implemented.

Installation:
1. Download and install Azureus 3.1.0.0 (Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php)).
2. Delete the "plugins" folder in %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
3. Extract the RAR using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus) and overwrite ALL files.
4. Run Azureus and Enjoy!

Troubleshooting:
Before posting problems please make sure:
1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads (http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp)).
2. You have removed the Azureus folder in %PROGRAMFILES% (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
3. You have removed the Azureus folder in %APPDATA% (The folder may be hidden).
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Azureus for XP
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Azureus for Vista
4. Reinstalled Azureus using the package from Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php)
5. Re-applied the hack from the downloaded RAR.

Warning: Performing steps 2 and 3 will wipe your torrent list and Azureus settings.

Enjoy!

Thanks for this. One thing I noticed is that the "always enable update tracker button" does not work. I have a check mark next to that option, but when i click "update tracker" it does and and cannont click it again for a couple of minutes.

Wow, I didn't even realize 3.1.1.0 is out! Completely slipped by me. It was released while I was modding. I'll get on to this tonight.

Please test this version a bit - GUI bugs haven't been fixed yet.

But see if the new core is working OK.

Thanks

when are you going to make your own features?

when are you going to make your own features?

Not any time soon. I barely have enough time to port it as it is. If Shu is going to update his mod as says he will I will not bother, and will continue to hack as usual.

Just finished building 3.1.1.0, gonna try and fix some UI bugs though - hard to work with decompiled code.

I know it should not matter that i install v 3.1.1.0, since i deleted the plugins folder and .jar file. Replaced with & renamed the Azureus2_3.1.0.0.jar to Azureus2.jar.

But anyway, looks to be a bug in "Fake Upload speed mode ++" not sending fake ratio to server (at lest on torrentleech) and giving real ratio instead.

Confirmed.

I just uploaded a 3.1.1.0 with the same problem, I'll upload a revision 1 fix very soon.

Thanks for the confirmation DDJ.

I just tested on SuperTorrents and same thing, fake ratio not being sent to server (just to make sure it was not just a tracker problem to that specific site only)

Been watching the scene for a while from many different places, angles, & opinions. Being pretty silent over time mainly just paying attention out of sheer interest in whats going on and how it changes things. Have to say I'm really happy to see this SBI movement when comparing it with others over time.

I applaud the efforts of everybody here and specifically those who are actually helping & contributing. Wish to thank Digital DJ and the rest of the staff for keeping people up to date on everything as well. Many don't have the time, many don't have the skill, and simply put, many lack the motivation to take it public.. no matter the reason the longer this continues the greater the fan base grows. Which in return sparks greater growth via every last community it touches. No matter what side somebody has taken, everybody should appreciate the seeds SBI has planted already, many I'm sure without even knowing it. The total effect of even a single communities efforts are hard to measure, catalog, understand, and piece together. (even with dedication) But it's wonderful to see the greater pendulum of progression at any rate or clarity.

There may only be so much traffic and communication on this website, popular other distribution sites, etc. but these are really starting to get around the net quite a bit outside of these traditional manners. Stirring a lot of attention up and this is excellent. Normally I wouldn't have said anything, would've just made my notes, and moved on.. But for the wider scale of the population starting to not only discover but pass on this type of information, let one speak for the over whelming masses who will never come here, who will never appreciate the actual efforts involved, who probably will never even understand how any of it works, or even care too;

Thank You! ...keep up the excellent efforts, we're all watching.
