there can be... i've suffered from bad rsi for many years now (started computing too young and complimented my hobby with lockpicking).
i always have to disable rumble feedback in games if i use a dual shock pad as the pain is too much for me :frown:
dualshock > sixaxis
why would anyone want a controller that can't rumble?

Turning rumble off saves a lot of battery.
Dualshock has everything for a ps3 controller so why buy a sixaxis?
I don't think there are sixaxis controllers right now for sale (maybe old stocks). Dualshock3 is the one available everywhere to buy and includes the sixaxis functionality.
The joysticks on the dualshok are much smoother and stay flexible. After 1 year, my sixaxis' joysticks didn't return to their original position after releasing them.
Dualshock easily, the SIXAXIS minus the rumble is extremely light, 2light 2game.
ds3 ofcoz, if sixaxis is better, why ds3 sells better...
can't imagine a game without shock...

I agree ! I was never too fond of it. DS3 for me.
Was there even that much of a difference? I would have to say DS3, not cause I care about the rumble, even though I miss it on some PSX games that I sometimes play like Star Ocean during the city destruction scene among others, it is more about nostalgia, it isn't that big of a deal for me. It is more about the weight of the controller.

Six-axis is not the first choice, gets to fast defective.
played with both and the dualshock is the winner.
I do not own PS3, played for like 2-3 hours tops each time but I think it's enough to decide..
