"XP minimal requirement test"
basically these guys tried to have an up & running xp setup in increasingly older machines
the lowest they could get is a 8 mhz pentium box with 20 mb of ram and an isa video card :shockkk!: shocking considering that according MS the min requirements for xp are a 233 mhz comp with 64 mb of ram and a super vga videoadapter

"Win98 versus 386er"
this is pretty much like the previous experiment but it's all about having Win98 in a 80386 comp (minimum requirements were a 486dx2 @ 66mhz)
LINK (http://winhistory.de/more/386/386vers.htm) (not available in english but through the screenshots and hardware tables you get the idea)
maybe some of you have already seen this somewhere else... still surprises me to this day
