invited by - syzOP:unsure:, should i worry?:SC24:. this was/is affiliated with oMg[WtF]tracker right? that site was one hell of a scam system with fake peers and fake amount of everything really. on one quick look i just searched few known private tracker internals and the search gave pretty recent results so that's nice. what's the free user limits?

Took a few attempts, but I managed to find a working invite code. Seems like a good site, it has NZBs. The search results page needs work, though.

Is this another ZeroDay0 project? I love his stuff, but none of it seems to last long :gfrown:

My guess is that they're mirroring images from 4chan discussions. There's also a "Reddit-Image" category. Since 4chan does not archive threads and Reddit allows people to delete their own posts (unofficial archives exist for both), this could be useful, I guess.

Also, apparently only VIPs can browse categories past the first few pages...

other indexers have daily nzb download limits, limiting the result sucks. Not like it's the only indexer out there.

downloaded a nzb, filenames inside are a mess. Will look for it on other indexers see if it will download properly.

The indexer is BS, too many dupes and incompletes in the list, everything you download from their nzb has messed up filenames, you can only browse first 6 pages. And not worth paying VIP especially if they don't last long as you say. It's a money grab.

probably bs for those who have omg/in/dog, but as i mentioned in my very first post that it has few private tracker internal releases which so far i haven't seen much indexer have too many. but yeah the browsing is a straight overkill.

Fairly generous for a free plan.

The six page browsing limit is a bit of a downer, but when I resort to NZB indexers I already know what I'm looking for, so personally it doesn't affect me as long as search results aren't also capped.

Always good to have more options :gsmile:

That may be your provider's fault (keywords: retention, takedowns, missing articles).

Unfortunately fakes do exist, but can be minimized with a good indexer. That's why access to the established and top sites is so coveted.

Try repairing with the par files, get a different nzb from other indexer see if more files are ok. I've had real problems getting some things from usenet, different nzbs, different providers, interchanging files and doing repair, finally managed to fix them 100%.
And never download software from usenet, or uploads that seem too small for what is suppose to be in them.

But the standard there are too low, the users there can't even do proper audio cd rip.From time to time you can find some stuff there not found on torrent trackers, but nowadays i only use it to download magazines.

Its potential as an archive should not be underestimated, either. Some Usenet providers promise 4000+ days of retention, which means you can get stuff from more than ten years ago at full speed. That is, if it has been posted and you can find an NZB or the articles now, of course.

Usenet in general has a higher learning curve than most P2P, yes. The good news is that most of the complicated stuff can be automated. Ultimately, you only need to worry about having a high-quality provider and indexer (although in practice more than one of each may be needed).

Site is pretty shitty right now, they reduced the free grabs to 5 and most stuff gets you a 403 forbidden and counts towards your grabs. :stupid:

With that said, if this keeps up, I'm afraid that two months from now they'll be like nzbs.su where free accounts can only browse the list. The torrent equivalent of this (omg.wtftrackr.xyz) is very good, though, you should check it out if you haven't already!

The error in some older nzbs is due to - "Hello all,
as you may have noticed we was down few days, it was caused by faulty hdd, we got backup and still syncing it, a lot older nzbs may not works for now."

The 1 NZB per day has been for a while now, so I decided to donate crypto to become a VIP.
Paid with LTC, emailed information and proof of payment as per the instructions.
Payment was made on 06 November 2021, emailed twice and never received an answer or account upgrade.

Anyone else have the same issue?

Lots of NZB's also don't work and just go to a blank page ...

My real IP gets the same error code, as do all Tor exit nodes. viewdns.info is able to reach them sometimes. This might indicate some overzealous Cloudflare security policy or blacklisting... not much we can do in any case, besides waiting for them to notice traffic has plummeted.

I never faced any issues accessing this indexer. Been a member over a year now, idr any issues. Nice indexer imho, great foreign stuff, pre times are nice. However free grabs varying between 0 and 2, so it's a hassle to use. Was thinking about donating, however paying every month and only in BTC (high fees and no automation) is annoying. Idk why there is no yearly subscription. This indexer easily matches with the majority of specialized foreign usenet indexers, and it's far easier to join. And a one stop shop, at least for new stuff.

so you entered either user or pass wrong, the stupid one is you ;)

//edit: you can try millions of vpn ips as once you forget your user/pass byebye, you should have better save it, there is no way to recover it (everything is encrypted)... btw the login page says it clearly WARNING! One wrong login and your IP will be blocked :)

you are unable to understand what i said,

indexer is buggy, i have login in keepas, on entering correct logins, it still not accept logins,
it banned my ip, so i tried same on vpn, then again ip got banned,
even banning ip on entering single incorrect login is strange rule.

there is no way to reset password,

same issue is with other users.

I am not related to the site, I am just a user. From what I heard, they changed from the "donation"-system to the usual 1 year payment. Normally, you are able to see the info I posted after clicking on get VIP button.

You could try to contact the admin via the given e-mail. Is it a new one?
What if you make a new account there by using a VPN, maybe you will be able to see the message then? (do it on your own risk)

I was a VIP when the site first sprung up, then coasted on free tier ever since, but things just kept getting worse and the Admin with his paranoia mind state.

I swear the dude has issues, like serious issues, numero uno #1 = 1 failed login to straight IP ban, like come on. The forum is littered with people asking for their IP to be either removed from the ban list or requesting to ease the 1 fail ban policy. Nope he is budging one bit.

Then xx random week, reduces download counter, next week turns it back up, few months later disables IRC, then enables it. Followed by disabling download and api and then re-enabled it ...................... Finally disables forum, disables downloads. I thought I was the only one have issues with my account until I confirmed with a friend who is also a user.

Free accounts are good as dead at the point and it's been like that for quite a while. I'm not going to lie, there are a handle of nifty releases indexed only there but the ups and downs not to mention the unstable site error is HARD PASS at this point. I can not think of any site that has so much policies that go from disabled to enabled with the drop on a hat.

It is clearly a one man operation, nothing wrong there, but the guy takes ages and sometimes doesn't even answer posts, I assume because he is inundated. I would rather pay VIP status elsewhere.

A question:
Where does these partial invites comes from? They post it in their site, or give to vip members or what? I see from the thread that the admin gifts codes to Mag1sk but now it is another account sharing them, that's where my doubt comes from.

Also, on a more general answer to this thread:
I see like and dislike on this site, but it looks so interesting to me (the way they hide the address, etc.).

For anyone in there:
Is it any better to find less mainstream media than .su, dog or ninja? I am really missing on this area, and would love to know better about this indexer!
Another doubt about it:
Does it accept crypto? which one? How much is it costing?

I am mostly looking for European, Asian, African, Canadian and Latin-American movies in the best resolution possible (100~60GB UHDRemuxes/BR-Disks. 50~25GB FullHD Remuxes/BR-Disks). Do they have things like that? Usenet-4all had a lot, I see from the binaries groups.

I am sorry to not be more specific, but I believe I can't send PMs and I am not so sure if answering "that release from that movie of that director in that disk released in that Country" would be well taken here. I note you guys are more on the private trackers side of the force, but I abandoned the one I used a long time ago for privacy fears. Now I am back-filling with Usenet, but having a struggle to find even well known European directors.

Since the forum isn't that much about usenet, I'm afraid I could annoy.

I have been trying absolutely every indexer I can get in, paying for many and having some others in my wish-list (Its like a experiment: I want to pass a year as vip in as many as possible and then keep vip with only the ones I prefer). While I can find remuxes for lots of content in most of them, it gets harder when looking for non-Hollywood content.
Do they have any rules against being mentioned, like omg, and the other one?
As a curiosity: I do get things posted by WtF[nZb] in easynews' search, so the indexer content already looks good for me.
I hope I find my way in. For now all I got was hydrants.

Now that is golden information for me, thank you for letting me know that there are sources for KG and Tik being mirrored to Usenet, it is at least some hope! (To be honest, there is some international cinema content at Dog, Ninja and .su).

Now I really don't think I can ever find an Invite to any of the 2 indexers you said. I can't find any possible route in: I don't know anyone that even uses Usenet personally. It feels like a dead end. :frown:

I was at .in for a while. It's tough to join even if you're willing to pay (with the risks that implies). The content is definitely worth it, however.

What are the risks in this specific site? Don't they accept crypto or gift cards or some other proxy payment? Can't we do the usual xmr->whatever->btc->xmr->whatever->btc->whatever-they-accept thing to pay them?

File-sharing for me is not 100% about the money. It is also about giving a bit less of my usage info to the usual content providers (a bit of "don't feed the monster directly to his mouth", it's not like I believe I am anonymous or something like that), and mainly about finding content that is not usually offered aaaaand being able to keep em by the hundreds. Maybe more the last 2 parts: A bit of a Data-Hoarder here, not rich, but I can spend some dollars here and there to support those providing me access to what was wanted.

If .in sold invites to the public (which they don't), they could charge $1000 or more for each, and they'd still get purchases. Just like cabal trackers, they are that valued, not to mention the filesharing world seems to have a disproportionate amount of people with deep pockets...

I hope you are not pointing at me because of my bizarre idea of going vip everywhere in the indexer world for a year: It's a one time thing, like a rare extravagance, and costs way less than any decent seedbox would yearly.

I actually find usenet really cheap: as little as U$2.99/month and not needing to apply to arbitrary rules and being able to download as much as you want (I even downloaded 5 or 6 versions of the same movie just to compare the releases quality) at maximum gigabit speed.

But than come the case of content you can't find elsewhere, (my case that would apparently be solved by omg or in), and when I see I am using torrents from russian semi public trackers and exchanging the audios all again: Usenet makes 80GB 4k releases so easy and fast that anything else looks like too much for too little.

Very hard with Usenet: I do have some invites to trade if that is possible, but with Usenet the value of them ain't that good: most sites just went "free to enter, pay to stay" route. Main exceptions (the ones that do have invites needed to enter and available to offer) are DS, Ninja, Dog, Cat and Tabula. I have some of them to trade, but it's hard to find someone wanting to exchange .in and omg for these ones, since everybody says everything that they have is already inside omg and .in.

What route you and alpacino (or anyone else) could recommend me?

I have never downloaded anything. Do they force me to get VIP and with a free account I cannot do anything?

Last BF I "finished" my indexers deck, 12 paid indexers (not all at once, I accumulated that with time).
This one, gingadaddy and cat were the only 3 I could join and pay for that I didn't pay.

Cat is having problems with their API. Kingcat is nowhere to be found.

Ginga seems abandoned and wants me to save the chicken with paypal. (The chicken look delicious, tough!)

And this one... well, this thread has put some red flags: accounts lost with "it's your fault" attitude (cmon, it's Usenet not some torrents site where you are doing the favor to allow people to use it), a very slow search, and the btc price of 25U$ plus the 15+U$ fee to use specifically BTC ( https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html#3y ).

I feel it has potential, it posts in obfuscated ways in obfuscated groups, it allows us to upload nzbs. It has directors search for movies, it has many well intended interesting features that could make it compete with dog for instance. I even have curiosity for their forums, but imagine I'm drunk and i mistype my password? Or Imagine if my keyboard is drunk? My keyboard gets drunk a loooot!

It was kept out for me for the price (40 bucks can get you some lifetimes or long period elsewhere) and because it didn't seem trustworthy enough. I confess I was expecting some sort of price drop during BF (since 25/year is really high price), but it wasn't only that, It was more the feeling that I could end up not receiving what I would have paid for, after reading so many posts here on this thread and after so many hydrants, crosswalks and criticisms, all mixed...

I wish they could come here and answer the criticism in a more constructive way (it is all over this thread).
And I wish them to succeed overcoming their problems.

After my brief experience with this indexer, I cannot recommend it. Mainly, because there is no guarantee you'll be able to get your $25-30 out of it. The site went offline about a month after I signed up because of database issues. This ended up lasting several weeks. After it came back online, mysteriously, my login credentials no longer worked on the site. Granted, I'm using the password manager of the browser to make sure they are ALWAYS entered correctly. For over a month, I emailed the site admin (a few times) asking if this was related to the database issues and how to resolve it. No response.
