Hello,
First and foremost, a big thank you for mmmmm's great tutorial on smartsniff (http://www.sb-innovation.de/f59/tutorial-how-use-smartsniff-capture-announces-bittorrent-32021/)
Here a couple of qBitTorrent 3.3.13 client files for VEM.
The Files: 17857
Content:
3.3.13 Encryption Disabled.client
3.3.13 Encryption Preferred.client
I created 2 files for 2 reasons:
1. VEM
With VEM the encryption modes I choose in Vuze settings are ignored in the announce. I tried with
a few client files (QBT, Tornado, utorrent).
So I need to provide the encryption mode directly in the client file.
2. qbitorrent
qbitorrent settings offer 3 encryption modes:
preferred encryption
required encryption
disable encryption
Strangly, when I choose "required encryption" the announce file (legit QBT 3.3.13) shows:
supportcrypto=1 :stupid:
with the same settings, QBT 3.3.5 gave me: requirecrypto=1. :top:
It doesn't matter, I read that "required encryption" is rarely used.
Well then, I only need 2 spoof client files.
I've "hardcoded" the encryption mode in my QBT client files since QBT 3.3.5 (http://www.sb-innovation.de/f274/qbittorrent-3-3-5-a-33020/) client files and I have personnally always taken the "Encryption Preferred" file.
