Not really sure if a 5th season is necessary

Ditto. The show is finished; there is nothing more to add.

Is this a new season, a reboot, or a rerun of the original series? It's not clear to me from watching the trailer alone.

Anyway, I never watched Prison Break, but it looks good.

Prison Break only really had one amazing season. And that's season 1, all others are just meh, especially after season 2.

This series is the only one i watched ,
Got season one from a friend at my HDD and open first episode then finished the season after three days

You should open first episode from season one .

It seems all of you agree season 1 was good, so I'll grab that and see where it goes from there.

Just finished S02E02. I won't give (nor do I want) spoilers, so let's say things are getting very tense. I find myself hating T-Bag or that Secret Service guy every time they show up, which means their acting is great.

This series is amazing! I was very happy when they announced a 5th season. I remember the second season suffered from that 'script writer's strike' and was made shorter than other seasons, this strike also affected other shows like Lost at the time. Anyway, I highly recommend it!

I think you mean the third season, it has 13 episodes compared to the usual 21-22.

Anyway, I'm halfway through watching it and the level is indeed not on par with the first two, but the writers guild strike would justify that somewhat. I'll post my overall impression once I finish it.

Remember the $5 million they'd spend most of season 2 trying to get? They're promptly forgotten forever. Furthermore, Lincoln kept saying he didn't have any money, but how was he paying for his hotel and food

Sara's actress obviously wasn't available for filming, as they only show a photograph and silhouette of her before her head rolls off. Thank goodness it was all a fake, she and Michael make such a cute couple together

What became of the whole President Reynolds conspiracy? It's barely mentioned at all. Same with Westmoreland's daughter, although she had two weeks to live "at most" when the team broke out of Fox River, so I guess Michael just couldn't make it fast enough.

On to S04E03 now :smilie4:

Finished the season 4 finale yesterday. I'd like to say that Razor is right, and season 5 had better offer some really good reason as to why it can exist at all after the events, otherwise it's going to feel like a cheap trick.

Here's a video to watch while we wait.

The pirate boxset I downloaded had that as the final two episodes :wsmile:

Great ending, and that's why I said they'd better have a good explanation as to why the new season essentially ignores it.

I watched Season 5, aka Prison Break Ressurection and while the plot seems illogical to some degree, I found it to be quite brilliant. I would recommend you to see it.
Wentworth Miller was borned for this role.

Netflix? Don't be a sellout and use SCCflix or IPTflix like the cool pirates here :smilie4:

this

unconvincing/bad parts:
- everything involving michael's kid
- everything involving t-bag's kid
- super secret agent and his hitman duo lameness
- mob boss junior lameness
- lover-boy in the desert ultra-lameness
- ship journey lameness
- tattoo usage, especially for the super secret lab
- t3rrorist/yemen/isis angle and usa propaganda connecting with the present era
- product placement (cars)
and many more...

the 'all seeing eye' on both palms reminds of the masonic symbol and may be interpreted as: we 'make' our future (destiny) through our deeds - also, the season ends with freedom for the main character, a return to his real name, no more mr. nobody (outis) and according to a site kaniel means 'the Lord supports me'

I finished watching it, here are my thoughts.

Firstly, a fifth season where Michael is still alive is already a big retcon of all the events seen beforehand.
How the hell does T-Bag get released from prison with his massive body count?
Michael claims Ja is a genius with essential skills, in practice said skills seem to be having a phone and lighting fires.
T-Bag's kid is unbelievable. Not only was T-Bag infertile according earlier seasons, but what was his son doing in a Yemeni prison
What happened to Mahone, LJ, Maricruz and C-Note's family? They aren't even mentioned.
We don't see Sucre again after Mike outmaneuvers the hitmen in the airport.
Highly rushed ending in the last episode, it only shows us Jacob getting pwned and that things are finally fine for the main characters.

I'd rate it 7/10, and I added one point because it was nice to see most of the gang together again.
