[April Fools' joke] Premium Membership

Hello dear members.
We have some big changes coming up. After careful consideration we've come to the conclusion that a premium-membership model is the fairest.


But first, what is a "premium-membership"?

The premium-membership comes with the following features:
- regular client file updates (RM+, mR etc.)
- regular VEM updates (also betas)
- live cheating video lessons
- exclusive access to unpublished tools and documents
- future updates of our mods and tools
- 24/7 support

How can I become a premium member?

There're two ways.

Option I:
- Your activity is at 55%
- You're a member for at least two years
- You have at least 500 reputation points

Option II:
You can buy a premium membership. In the site header at the upper right we have a bitcoin button for payments.

The graduation of prices is as follows:

What if I don't wanna buy a premium membership?

Of course everybody is free to choose. The support for non-premium members however will be very limited and no updates will be available either.


We didn't make this decision lightly but unfortunately we can't keep up the service we've provided so far solely based on our good will. It takes a lot of time and money to keep all this running, enhanced and maintained so we decided to take this step with a heavy heart.

As we have discussed, this seems fair considering the forum is no moneymaking site and always operated at a loss.

I still think two years for option no. 1 might be too much, though - I would say one year is better considering the other requirements. But I'm glad there's that reasonable option for those who can't or don't want to donate.

You got me with this one. I really fell for it as many sites seem to go that way to pay for expenses, etc. It's just great to have this site free and this freedom allows for the wonderful creativity expressed here at SB-I. Nice -- :freesty:
