Where do you guys get your wallpapers from?

I'm interested in a site with large-res images, clean (no watermarks on any image hosted there) and easy to download.
Perhaps something that will let you download several images at once (wallpaper packs). But not from trackers or other p2p sources.

Is there anything like that?

Thanks

I usually go to deviantart for wallpapers. There is an artist/photogographer I like.bo0xVn on deviantART (http://bo0xvn.deviantart.com/) .I was subscribed to several other dudes with wallpaper centric galleries but I lost them after a foolish attempt to clean my online bad habbits. (too many subscriptions, wasn't using deviantart that much deleted account)
I'd suggest going to the wallpaper search http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/wallpaper/,enter your resolution in the search box (exp 1920x1080) and then use the provided filters to find something you like.
Another good site is Computer wallpapers / wallbase.cc (http://wallbase.cc) .It's worth checking out.

There may be specialized blogs or sites that make custom wallpaper packs but wouldn't it be the same thing you encounter on trackers ?

Awesome! Good site but rather small.

With trackers I need to bring my portable utorrent and some tracker accounts to be able to download any of them. Its easier to just go to x.com and download the latest batch of wallpapers for example. If anything like this exists.

I habitual use for this purpose minus.com (http://minus.com)
Just type in the search bar "wallpaper":
search?q=wallpaper (http://minus.com/search?q=wallpaper)

You can then select the collection that you liked. For example Widescreen Wallpaper Archive (http://minus.com/mHD_Wallpapers)

What about packs? Say 10.000 1080p wallpapers. Is there any place these packs can be found? Without having to download each file, manually.

I have seen some of those on Filelist (just passing by, so I'm sure there are plenty). Chances are IPT has them too.

Here's something for you. You have to reboot for the pattern to change correctly, but the feature is still there.

I missed your post somehow. Thank you, I'll test them today.

The reason i opened this thread is because I have 3 FHD monitors and have different wallpapers on all of them. So, 3 wallpapers at a time + changes every 12 hours. Right now I have 5200 images, full hd.But it is not enough, i go through them in 144 days, not even a year.
I need tens of throussands of pictures.

i have some packs on filelist but the naming scheme is different, and I have to bulk rename all of them to fit in one folder.

I download most of the wallpapers from deviantart. It's really good.

Warez-BB is also worth looking into.

Alternatively, increasing the delay to 30 hours would cover you for an entire year :smilie4:

I usually do a google search when I'm interested in changing the looks of the desktop background.

Upload something you like to Yandex Images and you'll get lots of suggestions (and suggestions for those suggestions).

If 4K looks pixelated, that must be a super ultra high quality monitor :geek: Maybe you could try Gigapixel (AI upscaling), the results are amazingly good.

I always relied on the page that Bing had, I think it was a collection of their homepage background photos that they changed daily, but they were available to download as wallpapers.
