Hey People i have adsl and im looking to get a new modem wifi router so im wondering what other people have and how they find it to use
Hello my brother , welcome to our forum.
Iam using speedstream 6520 router and it has wireless network capabilities , i have 1PC and 1Laptop at Home . iam pretty happy with it and its working fine... I'am using it for 1 year now having 512 Kbps Connection Speed for Home User .
Using 2xADSL Router (bridge mode) model: DLink DSL 500B (supports ADSL2+) and DSL 500T. Already used like router mode. Easy configuration and friendly interface. Never get problem with both.
Using both with 1mbps (downstream) and 300kbps (upstream).
I am going to stick with D-Link Modems, i got highly good performance from them every time i tried.
i have a netgear dg83pn - works great for me!

Hey! So I need your advice folks. On laptop I have 3G connection (USB modem), and I'm wondering what kind of router would I need if I want to use Wi-Fi to connect some other devices (my phone, etc)? I never had any router before so I have no idea what to look for.

As long as our router has wifi and your phone has wifi you can connect them. It doesnt matter what brand or make the router is.
Use your phone and find your router's ESSID (name that you gave to your router's wifi connection) and plugin your pw, thats it
I'm using a Netgear router and a Cisco modem... So when I had 25 Mbps download I only had a modem that had wireless and when I got 60 Mbps they said they need to replace it and got me a modem and a router just for this... Ain't technology awesome? 13306
