At "Prom," every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; "Prom" portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it's a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De'Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school's most seminal events. There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there's only one "Prom."

they might as well change the release date from april 29th to april 1st, since this is likely to resemble an april fools' day kind of movie, where you get high school student interviews (to make them feel genuine, whereas they are really conceived by the screenwriters), revolving around the usual cliches which supposedly define student existence while attending high school, things like preparing just for that one day, thinking about it the whole time, only a few students get to enjoy it, all the high school years before the prom mean nothing and so on and so forth

what you will see here is quite literally a 'disney prom', a promotion of their viewpoints on this event and the surrounding ones, those that they want you to imprint in your own attitudes/behavior, just like a good student would do with the information given to him in educational institutions, just don't ask any inconvenient questions
