Community mods ?

ive had a search round but cant find the info i want, most of the info is german and translation is poor
so
could someone be so kind as to explain what emule community mods are
what they do
what benefits you can get
ect..ect...

Did you try Google?

But simply put, eMule community mods are those that somehow favor others of their ilk over normal clients. For example, Applejuice and Fireball.

There are 2 different kind of community, Community Mods and Community Nick Addon.

- Community Mods: They're mods like Fireball, AppleJuice ecc. If you use 1 of this mod you're a "community client". These client are a lot important for community life and if you use community mods you can for exaple get a high boost for downloads and have fastest download (if in the sources there are other community clients).

- Community Nick Addon: Is the thing in [] in the nick. For example ZZ-R support this. Client with this in the nick will get a boost or other little advantages for better download. You can thief other community with community nick thief or emulation (is the same feature).
