I don't have an, Ipad yet.
I will probably buy one (or my wife will make me a present for my birthday) in a couple of months.
Someone here has one ?
Is it really a good product ? Is it worthy to buy one ?

I already have an iPhone rip-off and apart from movie watching, I barely use it, so...
ipad's way overrated in my opinion . nothing exceptional as such , and cannot even play flash as said by Sazzy earlier .

I don't watch entire movies on every session. Maybe 45 minutes today, half an hour tomorrow... depends whether I'm tired enough to concentrate on anything that requires usage of my eyes or not. :lol:

It is not small, it wont make you go blind, I used to do the same with my benq E72. When you come to our city and get to do 45-60 min bus rides twice or three times a day, you might find that a cellphone's screen is not bad after all :biggrin:
Besides, Ipods, Iphones and Ipads are VERY expensive here. Think about a minimum wage salary for an Iphone (with a plan!), a whole salary for an Ipad (Brought illegally from the USA, with a 3-6 month "warranty")

It's for the "SciPhone", but probably applies for mine (it's made by the same company) and other rip-offs as well.

Everything that can be held in one hand is small tbh. Small enough to cause a lot of eye strain. And eye strain =/= blind. I'm not pulling this out of my ass, I've actually held these devices and tried it and my eyes started stinging like hell after a while of watching.

Twice a day. If classes lasted longer than expected, and more than half of the time they did, I had to wait for another hour for the train to show up. I do know how hard it can be :)

My number one usage of an iPad would probably be to spend some time playing flash games online. And I can't even do that!! I mean, geez Steve Jobs, put your personal issues aside, make friends again and put damn flash on your crappy hardware. You can buy a laptop for the same money that will be able to do more.

Yeah, seems like Apple always misses the "small" details, like the Iphone 4G loosing signal when held in your left hand, the Iphone 3g not having AD2P or MP3 ringtone support...but you know, miserable people feel better by owning stuff that will make them socially adequate.

Nope, I have yet to buy an iPad. I was really holding out for the HP Slate, but since they killed it, I don't know what I want.
Sazzy, some people like small screen to see some unworthy stuff aka porn :lol: and wasting time watching movie while waiting/travelling in bus. Some people like you prefer to listen music or read books or even playing DS/PSP (eye strain is easier to get with game device because of bright and bling2 color :tongue:). While some people like me prefer to sleep or watch the scenery. But good advice on eye strain tbh.
About Ipad, i don't have it because it's very expensive here (not having legal licensed Apple product seller so...)

I was thinking of buying it but i later realized that it is just a glorified ipod with a bigger screen and you know what its screen is even not the latest OLED technology. I thought why dont i just put in a few more bucks and buy an i7 core laptop. so now i dont think i will be buying it.
i don't like it. Netbook is better for me.
