Dead Space 2 is hardly some Charles Bronson-in-space revenge tale of one man with a score to settle against the villainous necromorphs who have wronged him. Sure, there are changes to Isaac's abilities to make him a more adept fighter. His movement is noticeably less plodding, his melee attacks require less full-body windup, and his telekinesis ability operates more quickly and is thus more suitable for use in combat situations. But for all of that, there are new weapons and new enemies that command the sort of deliberate approach to combat that leads us to believe this game won't be quite the run-and-gun action title that so many other survival horror franchises have evolved into.

Those are the minimal requirements, the game may work fulfilling those, but you're definitely not experiencing the game at it's full glace. :wink2:

off topic: Don't get the new slim yet, until it gets cracked and can be modded you know. But if you cant wait just get the old ones probably a JTAG will do since you probably wont play online though plus online is not fun unless you actually like the game.

on topic: AI in the first on x360 was messed up most of the time. Like you never knew where you stand.

I couldn't play the first due to the very bad FOV (field of view), it made me sick.
Also the controls were horrible, bad port (like always).

I hope they won't fuck up this one.

The PC port of Deadspace was terrible for all the reasons mentioned as well as the terrible FOV. Felt like you could see about 30% of what was in front of you after taking away the screen space that the main character took up.
I ended up playing it on PC but with a 360 pad.

It's strange because I played it on console too and even though the FOV seemed the same, it didn't bug me at all. Yeah and I think it didn't change in this one either.

lol...maybe i just can't tell. Don't write me off as a whiner; I'm just saying I've already been psychologically inclined to dislike the game and considering Crysis killed my PC some years back I was very glad to see it as a hit on the consoles.

PS3 version features DEAD SPACE: EXTRACTiON (wii PORT)
i played it today it was prequel to Dead Space 1 and you should see...very nice.

I've finished it and i must say it was a solid follow up to the original. Maybe a bit to Hollywood clicheed ending but worth playing. This game is the new survival horror king in my opinnion, as the latest Resident Evil was more of a action shootar than a survival game. Too bad the multiplayer kind of sucks but i hope they'll fix it in a future patch/DC
