Lately i took a closer look changes in a minor versions of BitTorrent

So 6.3, 6.3a, 6.3b, 6.3c, are there different?

Yes, each of them contains different AskInstallChecker and AskSetup.

SAme with earlier differences between 6.2, 6.2a, 6.2b, 6.2c.

Conclusion minor letter suffix at the and makes us sure we are up to date with Ask bundled crap while giving same bittorrent.exe.

To take a closer look at all files are released at bittorrent site all downloads are here:

Index of /dl (http://download.bittorrent.com/dl/)

Edit after anon's post:
to prevent confusion 6.2- 6.2c has same exe; 6.3 had different exe than 6.2 branch
but 6.3 to 6.3c has same exe

I couldn't find changelogs either but I doubt they're distributing fake updates to get people to install the Ask toolbar. If concerned, just use uTorrent... except for a few things, it's the same codebase.

BitTorrent 6.4.0 Build 17985

It seems to be uTorrent 2.0 final just with bundled crap and Mainline Peer_ID.
Want a better, cleaner program, want to hide in the crowd use uTorrent - read uTorrent Topic in Unmodded Clients sub-forum.

If you still want to use it:

Compilations list and most probable uTorrent version matching :
BitTorrent 6.4.0 Build 17985(repacked uTorrent 2.0 final)
BitTorrent 6.3.0 Build 16973(repacked uTorrent 1.8.5 RC1 OR uTorrent 1.8.4 final)
Bittorrent 6.2.0 Build 15918(repacked uTorrent 1.8.4 beta OR 1.8.3 final)
Bittorrent 6.1.2 Buld xxxxx (uTorrent 1.8.2 beta OR uTorrent 1.8.1 final)

Changelogs liek always remain unknown. The letter builds differ with file versions and bundles there are no patterns now, none i am aware of.

Mainline still has hidden uTP support embedded no Enable bandwith control in Bittorrent menu but in advanced there is bt.transp_disposition 13 default value

To make it portable place empty settings.dat in application folder(the same methos as in uTorrent case)

BitTorrent this with 7-zip or WinRar and grab bittorrent.exe from inside):

Mainline still has hidden uTP support embedded no Enable bandwith control in Bittorrent menu but in advanced there is bt.transp_disposition 13 default value

uTorrent also has that - it was the only way of changing the uTP settings when the "enable bandwidth management" checkbox didn't exist, actually.

Changes as always unknown

Changelog as always unknown - 19086 build number and April 16th are hints - it might be based on utorrent 2010-04-16: Version 2.0.1 (build 19078)

BitTorrent 7.6.1 Build 26875 (http://www.neowin.net/news/bittorrent-761-build-26875)

BitTorrent is a BitTorrent client originally created by Ludvig Strigeus (ludde), and is currently maintained by a team of developers at BitTorrent, Inc. A client is a computer program that follows the rules of a protocol. For example, HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) is the protocol used for transferring web pages and other content, and your HTTP client (or web browser) is the program you use to get those web pages. Some popular browsers include Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Apple Safari. To an extent, they all work in the same way because they follow the same set of rules. Just as there are multiple HTTP clients, there are multiple BitTorrent clients that observe and conform to guidelines set in the BitTorrent protocol definition, and BitTorrent is one such BitTorrent client.

So what sets BitTorrent apart from other BitTorrent clients?

Micro-Sized Yet Feature Filled
Most of the features present in other BitTorrent clients are present in BitTorrent, including bandwidth prioritization, scheduling, RSS auto-downloading and Mainline DHT (compatible with BitComet). Additionally, BitTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification and peer exchange.
BitTorrent was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many other BitTorrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is very portable, being contained within a single executable small in file size.
Skinnable and Localized
Various icon, toolbar graphic and status icon replacements are available, and creating your own is very simple. BitTorrent also has support for localization, and with a language file present, will automatically switch to your system language. If your language isn't available, you can easily add your own, or edit other existing translations to improve them!
Actively Developed and Improved
The developers put in a lot of time working on features and making things more user-friendly. Releases only come out when they're ready, with no schedule pressures, so the few bugs that appear are quickly addressed and fixed.
BitTorrent is also available for Mac OS X (http://www.bittorrent.com/btusers/download/complete?os=mac) & Linux (http://www.bittorrent.com/btusers/download/directory-list).
