i would vote for Rio as there were no latin-american hosted games for a long time

Madrid - no since UK would represent europe in 2012
Tokyo - will probably have to wait for 2020
Chicago - will try to force it for sure and will probably win if Rio doesn't ante-up their offer :tongue:

It has been almost 50 years since last Tokyo Olympics,
but the games were held in China last year.
So, they were not chosen.

I personnally believe that South America deserved this Olympic opportunity. It was about time that the South Americans received this oppurtunity.

The bureaucracy that inhabits the Olympic managers and other high-level administrators reeks of corruption.

I was actually thinking that Madrid would be getting it since the top-level admins and other persons who make the site decisions are Euro-centric. However, I would wonder if they made the decision based on the idea that is so well known regarding thier internal corruption, that they decided to give it to South America.


Every continent should get such an opportunity as opposed to recieving Olymic-host opportunities based on kick-backs, wining-and-dining, and so forth.

That's about time, yes??

I guess the only continent that's left now is Antarctica, yes?? :D

there was a documentary with hidden camera that gave insight on how the bribery is being done, i remember they always used middle men (or organizations) for that

as for the corruption, I didn't realize that they were caught red handed.

They're used to living the high life. Thats' for sure. they live the life that you and I could only dream of: Living on the coast in some private mansion with your own 40 hectare beach and all with probably the dolphins as thier only friends as everyone else is too scared to show how poor they are in comparison to them, yes?? :D

And as for Antarctica, me and my penguin friends would give the world's best SUMNMER OLYMPICS if ever we'd be given half a chance. :D

We'd wine and dine EVERYONE on the world's frozen ocean. Not just a select few. EVERYONE.

Personally I prefer Rio de Janeiro.
Tokyo and Madrid represent Asia and Europe,since Beijing and UK already done that not so long ago I think they would not get the chance.
