You might have seen several times that some people have webcoutures showing number of times their profile is accessed by other members and might also be curious on how to setup such a webcounter in your own profile so I decided to make it easy for every wanting a fully functional free web counter in his/her profile page:
Here`s a guide on how to get it to work properly Step by step guide of course.
The process is very easy and take very little time , a few minutes to get your code and paste it into your profile settings to get it working.
Lets work it out :top:
This webcounter, IMO, (although there are other out there) is superior bcoz it:
> is basically an easy 1-2-3 step process and should take you no less than 2 minutes to do.
> doesn't make you provide or reveal your IP address
> provides much more variety in terms of styles for your webcounter.
First put your torrents (in case if the profile you want this webcounter in is at a torrent tracker) on pause b/c the stylesheets/templates for the counters in .gif format, some are large and there are quite a few styles so if you don't pause your torrents you may end up waiting a long time for the stylesheets to load for you to preview.
Then all you need to do is go to this link:
Bitwise Logic Free Hit Counter (http://www.bitwiselogic.com/FreeTools/FreeHitCounter.aspx)
and just follow the instructions; very easy. After clicking on the link you will see a page like this:

Step #1
Just enter in the type of counter template you would like to use from the drop down menu (there are 50 styles to choose from). Some of the templates look like this (the below probably only represents about 1/4 of the styles one can choose from):

Step #2
Simply cut and paste your profile page's URL address - the URL address of which comes up if you were to simply click on your username here at TD (I used the URL of this thread instead of my profile URL so that the counter would work properly on this guide). Enter your profile URL in the designated space and then proceed to:

Just enter in a number in which you would like your webcounter to start at. When finished with the easy 1-2-3 step method you should have the form filled out similiar to this:

Then hit GENERATE MY FREE HIT COUNTER!. Once you have done that you will see a box with a long code in it; looking something similiar to this:

Notice that under the box of the code you will see an example of what your counter will look like. You can see mine as the flame counter under the code box.
Now we need to take just a part of that code out by copying the highlighted portion shown here:

Essentially you will intially be given a code that reads similiar to this:

What you need to cut out (and then paste into your profile settings page) is the following part (I replaced the http with hxxp in order to show you the code w/o it automatically hyperlinking):

Note: you must change the .jpeg extension to .jpg in order for this to work as in the above example.
Now just take that code and add the IMG/IMG tags before and after it and simply paste it into your profile settiings page and Voilą! You should see something like this:
