ViPMusic is one of the best music tracker . It isn't a new tracker and It's scene-based only.

There are some beautiful stuffs, for example the "Monitor System" (you receive a PM when there is a new torrent of one of your favourite artists!).

Everyone can upload scene releases (mp3-mvids-mdvdr), new or old, in every language!

This site looks good,they have nice statistics. Torrents 26,397 and Number of Users: ~ 8,606 Maybe some day I'll get an account.

Great site but requirements for power user and above are unrealistic for the average user. You would probably need a seedbox to survive. There is a minimum number of active uploaded torrents that you must have running at all times. Most torrents have few if any leechers, which makes the following requirements very difficult.


Power User Given to users who have been members for at least 4 weeks, have uploaded at least 25 GB, have a share ratio above 1.1 and have at least 5 active uploaded torrents. Demoted if ratio drops below 1.0 or number of active uploaded torrents drops below 5.

Extreme User Given to users who have been members for at least 8 weeks, have uploaded at least 75 GB, have a share ratio above 1.1 and have at least 25 active uploaded torrents. Demoted if ratio drops below 1.0 or number of active uploaded torrents drops below 25.

Elite User Given to users who have been members for at least 12 weeks, have uploaded at least 200 GB, have a share ratio above 1.6 and have at least 50 active uploaded torrents. Demoted if ratio drops below 1.5 or number of active uploaded torrents drops below 50.

Music Lover Given to users who have been members for at least 16 weeks, have uploaded at least 500 GB, have a share ratio above 2.1 and have at least 50 active uploaded torrents. Demoted if ratio drops below 2.0 or number of active uploaded torrents drops below 50.

I once had a free afternoon and wanted to reach PU to see what's up on the exclusive forums, but the requirement of uploading and keeping five Scene music releases active let me down. :dabs:

I just saw this on FST:


Its with big sadness that we in staff have decided to close ViPmusic forever. The reason for closing is that we have all come to a part in life where we don't have the time and interest anymore to run the site. When ViPmusic was first started we were a tight group with loads of crazy ideas and the site was fastly recognised as the Mp3 site with fastest pre and biggest collections out there.

During the years a lot has changed for all involved afk we have all gotten older meaning that we are not just some kiddies with loads of free time anymore, instead we are now all college and university students or having a job and family that requires our time instead of ViPmusic. During the years of running ViPmusic alot of other trackers evolved, when we started ViPmusic almost no other trackers had an mp3 section. But since then a lot has changed, today almost all major trackers have an mp3 section that is permanently free leech. This has created a lack of interest from the once so big user base. In 2006 when site was at its peak we had over 25k active members everyday today its only about 1000ppl using the site.

This is a sign to us that there is almost no interest and probably not any need for a scene mp3 only tracker in the year of 2011.

In the future, MP3 releases as well as those from other music categories, will be auto uploaded on https://heavensource.org/ and invites will be sent out to all members.
