Apple axes 'Hottest Girls' app

Apple has confirmed that the 'Hottest Girls' iPhone app will not be allowed back on its iTunes App Store service.

The company issued a statement Friday saying that the application had been removed by the company and that neither it nor other pornographic apps would be offered on the App Store service.

As if there isn't enough pron on the net as there already is.

Most likely the company originally decided to use the app as a marketing tool to help sell it.

Hey!!!.........sex sells, you know.

YOu not only can buy sex, but you can sell all kind of things with sex and porn.

One of these days, someone's gonna come up with the idea to sell donuts via porn.

ya. I too have to agree that it was a good decision undertaken by Apple.

As if there isn't enough marketing already.
There is sex everywhere in the marketing world.

People are inundated with sexual images everywhere with respect to companies marketing thier products with sexual innuendo, images, and the like.

I realize it's how things are nowadays. That's expected.
It's kind of the norm, if you will.

but there is so much sex in the marketing world, sometimes I wonder if that's all people expect with respect to what-ever product they've purchased. They expect it to be 'sexy' in some way.

With Apple having given up it's 'Hottest girls', I woud like to think that Apple would stand out in the crowd in having taken this unusual ( if you will) , different, and, new step.
