I am about to purchase a new Macbook. I am deciding between 2 models--I can get either for the same price.

Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz (Santa Rosa 800Mhz FSB)
80GB 5400rpm
1GB 667mhz RAM
DVD-ROM/CD-RW
Intel X3100 Video

Core 2 Duo 2.16Ghz (667Mhz FSB)
120GB 5400rpm
1GB 667mhz RAM
DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW
Intel GMA950

which one of the two is a better choice?

no time for explanations..
i would take the first one!
newer model
the x3100 series is goin twice as fast as the old 950series.
But, it’s still your choice to make.

The first one is the better choice with no remorse:

- Processor 800 fsb Better
- Intel X3100 Video a lot better

Nowadays the size of the HardDisk doesn't matter so much (we all have DVD+R or USB Storage device)

The first one is better.
No point in having more speed and capacity if it bottlenecks.
