Hab bereits geupdatet. Aber bis jetzt hab ich keinen Unterschied bemerkt. Also ware es bestimmt nur wieder irgendwelche Änderungen zur Verbesserung der Sicherheit.

is anyone still using v2?

Yes - some people prefer it because it's not as "bloated" as v3; also, certain addons only work in 2.x builds.

ya, and with this bloatedness, it sure makes FF slower.
I experience it numerous times over Opera. I still find Opera a little bit better with respect to initial loading times.

FF just loads like its' on holiday or something.

I mean, Opera is lacking in somethings, that's for sure.

and some of those widgets are sure useless.

Yes, FF is somewhat better over some other browsers, but with each new version, it just bloats and bloats even more. It's like a balloon that won't stop getting blown up with air.

One of these day, I'm afraid that FF is going to become so bloated, people will try to look for something else.

actually. Let me rephrase that: People will begin DEMANDING something better out of FF.

SEamonkey isn't all that great either. Its got the same engine as FF has.

@SealLion: you may want to try K-Meleon. It's based on the same engine as Firefox, but appears to be much faster. Addon compatibility is limited, though.

I have posted it in the software section.
