View Full Version : RDesc - Fully Automated Downloader
We have shared many free automated downloaders for various file-hosters like Rapidshare and Megaupload, but today I will be sharing a pretty unknown utility supporting fast and easy automated downloads from many file-hosters, RDesc is a new software supporting automated simultaneous downloads for free users from file-hosting services like Hotfile, 4Shared, Mediafire, Netload, ZShare, DepositFiles, Easy-Share, Gigasize, Rapidshare and Megaupload.

supporting automated simultaneous downloads
well, finally, i was wondering why for example USDownloader doesn't support that
btw does it start downloads from each hoster separately or just follows the queue as it is being added:
lets say i add 4 RS, 4 mediafire, 4 megaupload files and go for a 3 simultaneous files transfer - does it start with the first 3 RS files or chooses: 1RS & 2 mediafire or 1 RS, 1 mediafire, 1 megaupload ?
another 'spanish' program (hint: p2pfire)
@slikrapid: you can download from multiple hosters at the same time.
@hitman: seems to work fine, I could get good speeds at MegaUpload and Rapidshare without any special settings. :top:
By the way, it has Reconnect support!
I'm waiting for that english translation.Seems pretty good but I can't understand a damn thing:redface:
I'll see what I can do
Irgendwelche Vorraussetzungen (Java, .NET)?
Besser als der Tucan? Mit dem bin ich nämlich eigentlich recht zufrieden - eigentlich, weil er (bisher) weder Depositfiles noch Hotfile noch Netload unterstützt.
Yes, it needs the .NET Framework.
Sorry for the translation delay, I couldn't get to install VisualLocalize on my PC yet.
yeah I would like to have the translation too.
i would really appreciate English translation of this and hopefully a guide in english...
will be keepin en eye on this page...
thanxx
Please be patient. I'll see if I can install VisualLocalize today, and if it, in turn, can translate the program, which uses the .NET platform.
Bad news, I have installed VisualLocalize and it can't read but the version information. :frown:
If someone knows a .NET Resource Editor that can load and read the strings inside RDesc's EXE, please tell me. Otherwise, maybe I'll have to contact the author to add multilanguage support...
RDesc is now multi-language, english included!
looks good now even german is included :top:
How the CPU usage for you, guys? I'm downloading from MediaFire at 400kB/s and it keeps on jumping between 40 and 70%. :eek13:

i use this downloader yesterday to dl nod32 4m rapid...kinda works grt...grt dl speed abt too 25 to 32 kbps i got for dl..
I think 25-32kB/s isn't too much... but RDesc isn't to blame, it's Rapidshare that throttles speed for free users.

And you know what? I couldn't wait and went ahead to do translation for it. English is not my first language so don't blame me for bad translation.

You mean RDesc's speeds or the hoster's? I have always managed to max out my connection with this program when the hoster allowed it...
