Several of these services are floating around. I haven't tried out many. By many I mean I've tried one.

Linked-In. It's not bad. Seems to be about the same thing except it's less single-company oriented. On Linked-In you can post your resume and apply to get different connections to new people. In other words, it's about professional networking so you can get better jobs in the future.
