What Empornium is...
Empornium is a web site that uses the BitTorrent peer-to-peer protocol where users can download over 35 thousand adult movie files. "Adult Media" can encompass many different things including fetish and gay.
If you are new to bittorrent and file sharing you will need to get a bittorrent client such as uTorrent or Azureus before you will actually be able to download any files.
The website itself is merely a portal or gateway to the content being made available by people across the internet thru the site. The key is BitTorrent itself, as no files are hosted on this website. All files reside on the end-users computer.
Empornium users share adult media on the file tracker. The Site Rules state clearly that no other types of files will be allowed on our little pocket network, which is mainly to keep the threat of virus to a minimum. The users of the file tracker are a population with diverse tastes, and no manner of intolerance will be allowed. The only thing asked of it's users is to not share illegal media (child, beast, or snuff) across this network.
Empornium has a forum where users can request specific files, ask for or provide some modest level of technical help (mostly to do with playing the media obtained) and interact in general discussion. As with the file tracker diversity is encouraged.

As I said in another thread do be careful when browsing empornium, besides popups, I also get plenty of alerts from Kaspersky. It maybe a good site for Adult porn torrents but the site could be dangerous.
I forgot to add that, cheating seems to be no issues here :biggrin:
Use NoScript if on Firefox or BlockIt if on Opera, this should get rid of some of the warnings.

Well i have a word about virus/trojan malicious pop-up's and all that.
The only malicious that it will enter in my pc it's me :biggrin:
If you use some add-ons against pop - up's and banners and you know something about malicious tools and how they work you will be safe overthere .

"I remember someone tried to scam empornium members with a fake e-mail asking for donations. I received it back then and it looked really authentic. Anyway, I entered the tracker to see they did a global announcement stating they had been victim of fraud attempt and since then they wrote what you underlined.

All said and done, with the hitches in empornium, it's still a great tracker, with good stuff and decent speeds in many torrents
I always get a trojan warning when i open this website,But they have a large no of good torrents and its also very easy to cheat.:biggrin:

Most of the good people are moving to other trackers, such as Cheggit (I would have added also PT but it is getting unstable for me!)

It is in the Announcements Forum added under Do Not Upload.
I don't know the exact reason, but Empornium and PureTna are going more commercial and are going to cooperate with those companies.
It could be as simple as those companies advertising on Empornium and PureTna, to even those trackers selling torrents or something.
It is very weird, nothing good is left in that place. They even started retrospectively deleting the most active torrents from those products. :stupid:
The advantage of having different trackers. If one of them doesn't have what you want, you have the other. :wink:
PT has been a bit shaky for me too, but it seems to have recovered now, and is still open.

very sad to hear that, empornium had some unique packs with that content in the past. hope they keep the great siterips, there was some stuff that you couldn't find anywhere (picture siterips for e.g.)

but back then it wasn't great. maybe now after the demise of cheggit it will grow

Go to the disabled channel and talk to the staff. They might give you a second chance if it's the first time your acc is disabled for inactivity.

That's really unfortunate, I can't believe they wouldn't reenable an inactive account just once. Get on Pornolab and/or Pornbay and bide your time until you can find another invite.
for me pornbay is the best alternative to empornium.
