Another nice feature is the seed bonus system. You get one point for every hour you seed a file. You only get one point no matter how many files you seed.

Cheating:
Using RM on free leech torrents. Speeds of 600 up and 700 down has been working fine for months.
Going to compare it to some other trackers as soon as I have the time, but this is about it for now.

Today, EuReKA announced he is leaving his very-own tracker in search of greener pastures. Awesome-HD never really did achieve the stellar popularity that he would have expected, thus he finally threw in the towel. EuReKA (aka Rabomil) has unexpectedly announced a partnership with HD-Torrents - well, sort of. Awesome-HD.com is was redirecting over to HD-Torrents.org - which in celebration of their newly prized arrival have decided to open registration for the next 4 or 5 days.

Probably as all of you i do not like to admit i was wrong. I was wrong.
Under the article i was referring before i found one comment that looks reliable - like someone with complex information.
Earlier estimation was based on number of entries in their DB it was over 80000 , but some user accounts are disabled/deleted and there may be other factors, statistics are hidded from eyes of average user.

Conclusion
Current number of torrents increased 8550 active now, which is rapid grow since my last post.
Users around 40000 or more(quotation i refer was before registrations were closed that is why >40000) but unlikely 80000

More i posted in Awesome-HD thread.
Awesome-HD is not dead it jut changed domain to Awesome-HD (http://www.awesome-hd.net) (EuReKa aka Rabomil took Awesome-HD.com domain along with him), so AHD is alive and this was no merger - rather schism.
About hd-torrents.org popularity and growth i find it in being opened - fresh bloods not in EuReKa this coder is rather for marketing effect(i know some peple may sey it may not be a good one marketing effect but this is discussable so lets stick to facts).
Balance between build elite and hard to get image and being vital must be carefully maintained. Many private trackers are dwindling because of too strict rules of getting new bloods.

The design is fine for me. It actually lets you read text and browse the tracker without problems, which is already a great advantage. :tongue: I was reminded of Waffles's "black and blue" stylesheet - this is the same but with green text. :lol:
even though green is my favorite color,the design still makes my eyes bleed.It would be nice if they made several style sheets available.

About the design: aren't they using pretty much the same "template" as HD-Space.org | High Definition BluRay Movies,TV Show,Music - Index (http://hd-space.org/) seems to me many of the features are exactly the same and the gfx is similiar except hd-space got a space theme and hdt doesn't. =)

If you can seed a decent amount of hours every day and don't download too much (as it's my case), you don't even need to cheat, thanks to bonus points.

Yea. I guess alot of factors. They dont have scene access and I'm guessing its a first HD site for a large numbers of users so they might not access to HD torrents from other sites to upload there. I don't know if they have any other in-house encoders besides Eureka. And probably alot of hit'n'run so torrents die out quickly. It seems to getting better and good place to get HD files from other sites. Definitely more lively than bithdtv.

At least torrents are well-seeded. I prefer 40000 users seeding 9000 torrents rather than 9000 users seeding 40000 torrents.
But I'm one of the users having it as a first HD tracker like MosDef mentioned...

And another group (Framestor, I think it was called) just left Bit-HDTV. Looks like a lot of them are constantly looking for greener pastures.
P.S. If you are into 720p and 1080p. FraMeSToR and FLAWL3SS are moving out of BIT-HDTV to HDME tracker. FraMeSToR made an annoucement on it site a few days ago. FLAWL3SS probably made one too.

RM with MR, speed around 2-5 MB/s with most leecher is fine. I fake my upload around 70GB with that settings.
There are some new changes
1. Bronze Torrents Added
The Bronze spinning coin mean the torrent is it with a Free Leech option
Count only 75% of the Downloaded torrent!
2. Seed Bonus changes
You receive for every hour the system is registering you as a seeder 0.1 point per torrent.
This mean that if you seed 10 torrents you will receive 1 point.
The limit is 10 torrents.
3. Internal Bronze Releases
From 01.07.10 (next Thursday) every internal release will be with Bronze coin (75% download counted) except Eureka's BD-25.

And just imagine how long will it take to get enough ponts for invite now if u're not a heavy downloader and even for a cheater...

Too hard get an invite with this policy,on topic really good hd tracker indeed their internals specially Hidt for 720p pretty good.They have very strict rules for uploading good quality and size of torrents which some of them I've seen first time in my torrenting life .They're really working for keeping good quality and supporting their internals that's why this tracker have 9k torrents some of you guys found this numbers not enough .When internal's encode comes externals removing from databese.And only 3 different 720p encodes are allowed.
btw i calculated, if you seed 7/24 on 10 torrents you can get an invite in 41.6 days :)

One month before I flashed there with RM about 800gb. Account still fine but now at there homepage the oftenly announce about allowed cllient list. so thats mean they have now any anti cheat script ? Flashing still works there ? can anyone confirm that ?

Tried and tested.. it works wonderfully.. i accidently put RM on at 10mbps and left it for 2.5 hrs!! uploaded 105gb in 2.5 hrs :P account still alive :D

I like the new design. The previous layout was horrible, so glad they got rid of it. Much easier to use this site now.

umm... i think the site layout is the same.. they only changed the stylesheet and icons. :unsure:
Yeah the layot is same but stylesheet and icons are much better than old one.
Now they have new icons and I have to say, I kinda like the new design.

It is only 3 days to the end of the quarter (you do remember we have a minimum download requirement, don't you?).
So, if you registered BEFORE 1-st of July you are required to download at least 15 GB in the 3-rd quarter (from 1-st of July till 30-th Sept)
If you registered AFTER 1-st of July you have nothing to worry about, for you the requirement will enter in force from 1-st of October.
If you are a VIP member (or above class), you are immune to this requirement.

for those that think we all can download shit by ghost leeching well that creates a dis-formality of not showing any raw downloads and only snatches. so on gfl you can go get actual download on them and be safe. and games these days are atleast 100GB so 10x that and you get 1-2tb and thats per release. i got soo much from cyberpunk it was insane(still not banned nor found).
