I'm going to take a wild guess but maybe the VIP members have full access to a lunatic asylum with full privileges with better bread and butter to eat. Just a little bit more crunchy.

No seriously, maybe they just get their accounts not deleted after some inactivity on the site. Is there not any information inside the place's forums on this?? I realize the quote says 'secret', but the only secret I could think of that a VIP over there might get is learning that the new black is red or that the cake is a lie.

I wouldn't be surprised that they do have a separate forum for such things. Many sites have sub forums for various classes. As an example only BitHQ does. When I graduated to a higher user class there they had the same thing and from my own perspective there was nothing remarkable inside such sub-forums. Or maybe it's an inactivity thing I made brief mention of earlier. Or maybe they get some kind of points for which they can 'buy' things with on the site. Each time they seed a certain amount or upload or some kind of activity related behavior (like posting for example) they get points of some kind for which they get to purchase something that is site related. Maybe it's something similar to what Waffles.fm has where users can use up their points for site related things. Have a look at the activity of some of the VIPs on the site. Maybe they get a customized profile. Again, have a look at their profiles if your allowed to access it. If you read the first post made by DS, you will see that invites are given out based on a user's class. Maybe they get extra invites. saebrtooth mentioned a good one: exclusive torrents. Maybe that's the case.

Or maybe they get access to some staff functions. No doubt it would be limited. And even then who cares about such access?? That's no big deal. All in all, I wouldn't be surprised to learn it's of no big deal and when you do learn what such secrets for VIPs on that site are, they might actually be nothing of consideration.

You need to realize ParamouR that sites like to advertise themselves. The more advertising or word-of-mouth renown occurs from such a site, the more activity it has. And that's a good thing because this site most obviously likes to specialize in Asian content. So this site likes to up-the-anty and have it's VIP-to-be and even current VIP users hang around the site because the site offers secrets of some kind to it's VIP user-class (disregarding for a moment what these secrets even are to begin with). The more they hang around the site the greater the site's longevity. It's a way for that site to remain on people's torrent lists because now people are so curious to get VIP status.

Unofficial Update: I do believe the SysOp for ADC has retired. I would like to thank him for keeping ADC alive as long as he did. It has been fun torrenting at ADC and I will miss it and the friends I made there. My apologies to all those new Invitees that joined ADC not too long ago. Sorry your time here was so short. Thanks to the other members of Staff for keeping ADC going, especially during the last several years. Thanks to all the ADC members: uploaders, downloaders and forum rats. At this point, this channel is free for members to talk together about other matters such as other torrent sites to flee to. I will stay logged into the ADC Channel for a while in case I am needed for some unknown reason. This update is unofficial since a senior staff member did not make it and I am a low ranking member of staff.

The unofficial update was posted by one of the lower level staff who has no connections to acm. It's better to have multiple alternatives as we cannot depend on a single tracker.
