This is a tutorial to stop TL from showing those annoying adds.
1. Open mozila and login to TL.

2.Click TOOLS then PAGE INFO.

3.Click MEDIA and you will see some links with some pictures.Click on every link until you see the add you want to remove.Then click block image from ...

And there you go, no more annoying adds on TL.:top:

Thanks. Using Opera's content blocker (or AdSweep for Iron :biggrin:) also works. :top:
However, TL rotates ads from time to time and other ones have a different username, so you could still see them.
I'd like to add that the URL for that MMORPG ad is:

You can also try the add-on "Adblock plus" for blocking them.
But maybe the girls that are now in the adds of TL are not so annoying :tongue:

Use Ad Muncher ! One of the best ad blocker ! I used it From last 3 years !
Thanks, just tried on my firefox 2.x and it doesn't work. It doesn't have this "block images from" option. Anyway, I really don't mind ads, only pop-ups.

I block all ads with adblock plus but this is also good way
Using "ad Muncher" is the best was to go to block ads and popup/unders and all the other new type of ways ppl try to do ads now adays. There is a working serial for it as long as you use a Poland proxy.
I paid for ad muncher though, it's cheap and very worth it. Could not navigate on the web with out it.
default adblock plus list doesn't block them, but manually adding the TL ad URL will work like OP said. within adblock plus plugin.

You can do it the same way.I bloked some adds from extremezone too.
It looks like I can't block it. I can only block the pictures that are on the forum, but I need to block the pop-up window that opens every time!
Doesn't it show that bar were you chose to allow pop-ups or not?
You mean when I open the page? No it doesn't, that's why I wanna block it myself!

A really good addon which helps you pretty much with blocking adds is this Adblock addition. :top:

Here's some help:

There's no need to config it.
Just right-click the Adblock Icon and click the option shown below.

Now you can move your cursor over the website and after you hit a certain "area" it is framed with red color and with a click you can add this area to the blocklist. :wink2:

No I did not install that one. I did it now and I can see the icon. :top:
shoulder would you mind helping me something? I hate ads on gamespot.com. I tried disabled them but I guess I'm doing something wrong cuz it doesn't work.
Fanboy's AdBlock list seems to be able to get rid of the GameSpot ads.

anon I tried yours, and it works fine, but I realized it blocks some videos that aren't adds.
Post the URL of a site where you can find such a video, and I'll check if I can find the offending blocklist entry.

Sorry to intrude. I posted to sb-i a few days ago too to see if anyone can help me with getting an invite into the forum. This is really off topic, I know. But just as much as knowing what my chances are of getting in would make me feel good. I read somewhere today that the invite system is going to start soon. please give me some info as to if there is any way at all for me to be a member of sb-i at
