I took advantage of the open signups they had couple months back and created a dupe account purely for testing. Have used Waffles method with 1GBps speed (mr 5.2) on a porno torrent with plenty of snatches (uploaded close to 1.5TB).
My account is still live and kicking but all its gonna take for them is one look and I'd be done for. Suffice to say reckless cheating worked for me, but I can't stick my neck out on forums/shoutbox and the like. Don't try this at home!

Is it safe to appear as seeder on large torrents without uploading anything, just to earn the bonus points? More points are given to large torrents.

Mratio works for me. I use speeds between 250-350 KB/sec upload.
Here is an experience for increasing your ratio on HD-T
I did that with 2 HD-T accounts (different IP of course)
I look for 75% freeleech large torrent (50 Gb or more BD-50, whole TV Show seasons) with 1 or 2 seeders max.
Account 1 download the torrent to 100%, only 25% is accounted for.
account 2 download the same torrent to 100%, this time, account 1 is seeding too, since both accounts are on Gigabit internet, Account 1 uploaded most of what account 2 leeched. The original seeder also participated, of course, but only for a 3rd of the torrent.
Then Account 1 delete the torrent and redownload it, this time it's account 2 that upload most of the torrent.
I repeated this with about 20 torrents over the last 2 months. Sometimes I re-use a previous torrent. I noticed that some seeder were happy to find someone else (me) to take over the responsibility to maintain 1 seed on that torrent. This was the best case scenario, where I become the only seeder to my other account
as of last week, account 1 (6 months old) has:
Ratio: 2.xx ↑ 1.9x TB ↓ 8xx.xx GB
account 2 (2 months old), got half these numbers.
the irony is that while my intentions were clearly to "cheat the system", it's not technically cheating. Deleting and redownloading torrent 2 to 4 times is not forbidden.
Plus I seed some large torrents with few seeders. I even got other peers downloading torrents where my 2 accounts were the only seeders.
Then a friend of mine said he used the same system on another tracker but he got even further:
He used Vuze on both accounts, and used the embedded IP Filter to exclure other seeders so he only up/download between his 2 accounts!
But do you know if tracker's anti cheat scripts can detect if you block other seeders?

Cheating with speed ( 300-400 Kilobytes/sec) works on hd-torrents.org.
Any update on here? Does WM work, if so what speeds? Some people here said they have weak anti cheat scripts but that was like 5 years ago and I wanna know if that's still actual.
The only update I notice is that the staffers will check your profile at the end and will look to your snatch list and history so don't go crazy uploading many Gigas or Teras at once since you'd be disabled eventually. That being said, cheating there still not that hard at all. WM working with 1 MB speeds up and down on any torrent with peers (seeders and leechers) and account working after a week.
I cheated using rtorrent emulation (cheated like 2TB within 2-3 weeks duration) and accumulated a shitload of BP to buy me a few more TB's. Basic trick is add a lot of torrents (sorted by leechers) then sort by size in your mRatio client and add speeds based on size and number of leechers. I don't need to cheat again there i guess, not for a year or two atleast.
