I mean a capture taken with Wireshark, showing every bit of the tracker's reply exactly as it was received. I removed the passkey from your post, as it allows others to leech on your account and staff to identify you.

You could send it via PM or post it in the mRatio bug tracker, but once again, he hasn't been online since August 2017 so chances of a bugfix are very low.

I modified the passkey so the one that was showing in the tread was not mine but a fake. I can use wireshark and do a trace.

Only the 248 can look into this problem ?
    thx

I'm afraid so. But since you told me this tracker is also buggy with RatioMaster Plus, posting the Wireshark capture could still help there.

It's such a shame that MRatio became an abandonware. In the meantime, slowly but surely going to a waste. If only it was open source (or The248 himself shared his source code with other devs) It could've been superb by now. Makes me really miss this guy..

I feel the same way, though I'm more worried about The248 himself as he essentially vanished, making no mention of a future decrease in activity beforehand. On the other side, his last post was made way before his last login, so it could simply be that he lost interest and moved on.

I just had the most amazing idea of sending a "what's up" e-mail to his registered address here Will let you know if he responds.

Yeah, that brings along anxiousness in some way. But his last online time soothes this feeling (although his visit in 2017 could've happened by accident)

I guess that's why you should never work alone. If you burn out one day, there won't be anyone to finish what you've started. But then again, the amount of hard work that he put into it is impressive for a single person.

Well, the latest version of qBittorrent is 4.1.5, and an mRatio client file for it is available in the corresponding section.

    may i ask some questions?

    1. i saw some ppl said "never use scrape because it's risky!", but mRatio cannot get the <leechers> amount and only can get the <peers(=leecher+seeder)> amount if not use scrape, which result in that the option <change speeds if the number of peers is less than X> isn't that useful, right? for example, we hope that when the number of leechers falls to zero, mRatio should stop uploading automatically in order not to be caught. however, since it cannot obtain the exact leeching number(it can only obtain the total leecher+seeders, which is no meaning is this scenario), this feature cannot in fact work as intended? am i misunderstand?

    2. without considering other factors, is it safe enough that i start a task from 0%, with non-zero upload speed? yeah, i know in reality of course when a task just began, upload almost at the same time is impossible. but since communicating with tracker is not in real-time, when mRatio send data like ~30min later, to tell tracker how many DL/UL traffic i created in this period, the tracker have no way to know i have upload traffic from the beginning(they only know the total), so this setting seems safe for me. is it? if not, why? thanks.

    3. For a pack torrent (non-exclusive), if i want to act like i already own some files of it. how should i setup in mRatio? is it suspicious in this situation that i start with <custom 60%>, although i never download even 1 byte content of this torrent from this tracker?

Scraping is not mandatory for this. Trackers can return the current amounts of seeders and leechers on announce responses as an optional component, and many do. On those that don't, watch out... ideally, pick good and active torrents where the amount of (real) leechers won't decrease significantly in the first place.

Also, even if scraping was 100% safe, the feature you mention would still not be fully reliable due to the fact the information it requires is only updated 1-2 times per hour and mRatio doesn't connect to peers, so it can never have an accurate picture of how the swarm looks at a particular point in time. As I recall, it's there because people bothered The248 to add it.

    2. without considering other factors, is it safe enough that i start a task from 0%, with non-zero upload speed? ...
You are correct, the tracker only sees an average speed (newly uploaded data divided by time passed since last update). So there is no difference between fake uploading at 150 KB/s during an entire tracker update interval cycle, or using 0 KB/s during its first half and 300 during the second half.

    3. For a pack torrent (non-exclusive), if i want to act like i already own some files of it. how should i setup in mRatio? is it suspicious in this situation that i start with <custom 60%>, although i never download even 1 byte content of this torrent from this tracker?
You could set a custom completion percentage that matches the fraction of the torrent you supposedly have. mRatio will round the percentage reported to the tracker in line to how the emulated client would do it (as defined inside the client file). RatioMaster Plus is better in this regard, it allows you to pick your "finished" files in a tree view and send exact values.

Suspicious? Normally yes, but if you're sure the pack isn't exclusive and can be found elsewhere in the same exact form, then it becomes plausible.

Under Windows at least, the random peer_id feature was added on version 3.3 build 27841, so anything prior to that one won't have it.

Sorry, you didn’t have such a client file matching the criteria?
I haven't updated client files for mratio since version uTorrent 3.5 and there was a need.
    ---
I quickly read the last few pages and see that the author abandoned the development, which is undoubtedly sad (
Could you suggest which program is closest in functionality to Mratio from those present on the site (and it does not need Java runtime).
    thank you very much!

i feel mRatio seems inferior to RatioMaster Plus on the comparison of the little feature <getting leechers num>(influenced by which the feature <change speed when leecher less than X> is). (hoping no offense by saying this, ofc mR is better than RMP in some other aspects, they're both awesome tool)

just want to consult with experts: is it a bias and caused by my mis-use? or is it true? i record a video to show: (same torrent, same tracker, same testing time)
