Cheating of Filelist

Dragi si scumpi utilizatori, cu bucurie (sau tristete pentru unii) pentru imbunatatirile ce vor urma va anuntam ca am activat snatchlist-ul.

Ce inseamna asta ? Vom putea acorda puncte celor care stau la seed, vom putea vedea si detecta userii care fac fake upload, vom putea vedea userii care fac hit and run. Pe scurt, vom putea recompensa userii seriosi si cu bun simt si ii vom putea alunga mai usor pe cei care sunt o povara pentru aceasta comunitate.

Am sa fiu direct, cei care faceti hit and run la greu va rog opriti-va, cei care faceti fake upload va rog si pe voi, opriti-va. Va spun frumos acum ca sa nu aveti surprize neplacute si sa spuneti ca nu ati stiut. Stiu ca nici nu ar trebui sa zic asa ceva, ca e clar ca nu e ok sa abuzati (si cei care fac prostii stiu si ei asta) dar totusi am facut-o.

Oricum nu cred ca este cazul la noi, stim ca toti sunteti cu bun simt si nimeni nu face prostii (in afara de cel care a luat azi disable pentru fake upload). Decat sa impart cu disable in stanga si in dreapta, m-am gandit sa va anunt prima data.

In alta ordine de idei, noi niciodata nu am obligat utilizatorii sa stea la seed fortat asa cum e pe alte site-uri, nu am facut-o si nu o vom face niciodata. E drept, am putea, dar nu o vom face niciodata. Tot ce va cerem (si e pentru binele comunitatii - pentru toti utilizatorii) e ca orice descarcati sa tineti si la seed ca sa poata lua si altii ce voi deja ati descarcat. E chestie de bun simt, nimic mai mult. Vom avea grija ca cei care intr-adevar sunt cu bun simt si stau la seed sa fie recompensati.

Pentru cei care nu stiu ce inseamna fake upload si hit and run.

Fake upload = folosirea unor programe pentru a inregistra incorect upload facut pe site. Practic se putea inregistra upload pe site care nu era facut corect de catre utilizator, astfel isi imbunatatea ratia.

Hit and run = descarcarea unui torrent si apoi stergerea lui din clientul de torrente. Astfel descarcai dar nu mai faceai upload si la altii. Frumos e ca ce iei sa dai si la altii.

It basically states that they are fed up with cheathers and hit&runners so they've implemented a snatchlist to detect these users. And they respectfully request that all cheaters and h&r'ers stop what they are doing before they get into action.
No tracker on earth would've made this kind of announcement beforehand. They must mean bussines.

I know a friend that cheats BIG on FL
they don't have any special scripts of detection only a speed script ( speeds bigger than 10MB/s aren't recorded)
He puts 10 ratio masters at 10MB/s every one and in a few months he achive 60TB :))

And they don't allow users to see the peerlist or other user's snatchlist and they still don't have
anticheat and hnr scripts.
So don't join their irc or post in forum and you'll be fine.
They won't manually check their huge userbase.

I thought you were suppose to wait to announce regularly or it won't update.
Also no need for wm (overkill), just regular high speeds and let it announce.
That was months ago did they change something with the anticheating scripts I'm not aware of ?

They are visible in the list but nothing happens.
I'll tell you what happens : If you talk some stuff in the forums /irc they'll check you up and if they don't like you they'll give you a warn and say it's cause HnR other than that you're fine!
