"Avert Stinger" überprüft, ob Ihr System von einem der so genannten Conficker-Würmer befallen ist.

Die neuen Varianten Conficker.D bzw. W32.Downadup.C sollen Berichten von Sicherheitsexperten zufolge ab dem 1. April eine große Attacke ausüben und könnten dann sogar System-Tools und Antiviren-Programme ausschalten. Daher sollten Sie Ihr System zuvor noch nach dem lästigem Wurm überprüfen.
