Known Issues:
Client spoofing with plugin to peers is NOT implemented.

Installation:
1. Download and install Azureus 4.0.0.2 (Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download).
2. Delete the "plugins" folder in %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
3. Extract the RAR using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus) and overwrite ALL files.
4. Go now to the install dir. It is important to delete or make a backup of the old Azureus2.jar (Azureus2.jar.bak) after that rename Azureus2_4.0.0.2_403.jar file to Azureus2.jar
5. Run Azureus and Enjoy!

Troubleshooting:
Before posting problems please make sure:
1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads).
2. You have removed the Azureus folder in %PROGRAMFILES% (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
3. You have removed the Azureus folder in %APPDATA% (The folder may be hidden).
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Azureus for XP
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Azureus for Vista
4. Reinstalled Azureus using the package from Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download
5. Re-applied the hack from the downloaded RAR.

Warning: Performing steps 2 and 3 will wipe your torrent list and Azureus settings.

@Options: check if it happens with a clean install (but backup your current one).

@carlmarx: with "I have 1 file in upload, full to 100%", do you mean that you're a seeder and want to fake upload? Follow the pic in this post.

Make sure you untick the first two checkboxes ("start fake upload..." and "intelligent mode") and enable "show you as a seeder". Set your desired fake upload with the text fields at the bottom.

Regarding the auto-update, don't! It'll overwrite DDJ's Hack. Go to Tools -> Options -> Interface -> Start, and


To spoof 4.0.0.4, see below.

@Alexallandir: use the perfect spoof to emulate 4.0.0.4 in the meantime:

To enable the perfect spoof, close Azureus first, then go to the Vuze directory, open AzureusSpoof.properties, edit it:

yea i use spoof somtimes but i saw uploader & seeder talk about peers in a tracker's irc few times. so if i were used spoof i had a ban. thats why i ask for update. im sure we'll see in when update comes but i was asking if any soon.

the azureus perfect spoof is not detectable especially not from the seeder viewing to the peers list

the plugin is a different story because its detectable.

but spoofing with the perfect spoof other azureus versions is 100% bulletproof

@Alexallandir: spoofing another version of Azureus using the method I gave you is 100% undetectable, that's why it's called perfect spoof.

@azureee: Java 1.4 support ended with Azureus 4.0. It's better if you use the latest JRE (1.6.0_11 at the time of this writing).

OMG WHAT? i really throught other peers can you see as fake. damn i feel sooo stupid now. i knew "perfect" spoof means somethink but i just throught its for tracker thanks again!

Also ich hab mir diese version auch drauf gemacht, aber es gibt probleme mit meinerm router. Immer nachdem ich Azureus gestartet habe, lädt er erst einige minuten und dann schmiert mein router ab und das bleibt dann auch so, muss erst stecker ziehen bis es wieder geht, manchmal gehts auch wenn ich per browser ins router menü gehe und dann auf verbinden klicke. Ich weis nicht woran es liegt. Das ist bei mir bei keinem anderen Filesharingprogramm so.

@Codeman: I'm not sure I understood your issue correctly, but you can try reducing the global and per torrent maximum connections 200 and 40, respectively.
